In der beiliegenden Zeichnung sind meh rere beispielsweise Ausführungsformen von Einrichtungen, bei welchen das genannte Verfahren Anwendung findet, dargestellt, und es zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Zwillingspackpresse im Auf riss, Fig. 2 eine Variante der zu dieser Aus führungsform gehörenden Steuereinrichtung für die Druckflüssigkeit, Fig. 3 eine zweite Ausführungsform einer Einrichtung zum Absenken eines Pressbettes mit Kolben; Fig. 4 zeigt das zur Ausführung gemäss Fig. 3 gehörende Hauptsteuerorgan in Drauf sicht, schematisch gezeichnet; Fig. 5 zeigt die Zusammenfassung zweier Querschnitte durch das in Fig. 4 dargestellte HJauptsteueroran gemäss den Schnittlinien A-A und B-B in Fig. 4;

Method and device for lowering the press beds of presses for fruit and other fruits. The present invention relates to a process and a device for lowering the press beds of presses for fruit and other fruits.
The method is characterized in that a piston that carries a press bed and is lifted up by hydraulic fluid when unpacking and the resulting increasing load on the press bed is automatically lowered in such a way that fluid is displaced by the piston and thus the displacement fluid rising up in an air chamber compressed air is compressed even more in the air chamber.
In the accompanying drawings, several exemplary embodiments of devices in which the above method is used are shown, and it shows: Fig. 1 a twin pack press in outline, Fig. 2 is a variant of the control device for the pressure fluid belonging to this embodiment 3 shows a second embodiment of a device for lowering a press bed with a piston; 4 shows the main control member belonging to the embodiment according to FIG. 3 in plan view, drawn schematically; FIG. 5 shows the combination of two cross sections through the main control device shown in FIG. 4 according to the section lines A-A and B-B in FIG. 4;
6 shows a detail of the main control element; FIG. 7 shows a variant of the control device for the hydraulic fluid belonging to the embodiment according to FIG. 3.
1 designates the vacuum piston of a press provided with an upper press yoke 2. A rotating frame 4 is pivotably mounted on one of the two vertical uprights 3 which carry the press yoke 2. The rotating frame 4 serves as a support device for two press beds 5. The press bed 5 located above the vacuum piston 1 carries the stack 6 to be pressed out. A lowering piston 7 is arranged diametrically opposite the U nterdruek- piston 1, the cylinder 8 of which is connected by a connecting line 9 an air chamber 10 is in communication. To the connecting line 9, a feed line 11 and an idle line 12 with interconnection of a control element 13 is connected.
The control member 13 is designed in this way. that alternately the feed line or the idle line connected to the Ver connection line 9 or the connection line Ver with respect to the feed line and the idle line completed who can. When a connection is established between the feed line 11 and the connection line 9, the air in the air chamber 10 is first compressed by the supplied pressure fluid until the weight of the lowering piston 7 and the press bed 5 is balanced: then the lowering piston 7 is lifted up. After the lifting of the lowering piston 7, the control member 13 is brought into the position shown in FIG. 1, so that the connecting line 9 is closed off from the lines 11 and 12.
The stack 14 to be received on the press bed 5 is then unpacked, with the lowering piston 7 experiencing increased compression due to the increasing load on the press bed during unpacking, which is achieved by an increase in the pressure in the wind kettle. the lowering piston will automatically sink downwards. until, in each case how the equilibrium is established. Mrenn the press bed on which the rotating frame 4 serves as a support comes to rest. the control member 13 is set in this way. that between the connecting line 9 and the idle line 12 is a connection empty and the pressure fluid can escape from the air chamber 10.

The shut-off element 16 is then opened so that the process of lifting the lowering piston 7 with the press bed and the pressed-out stack is repeated under the action of the tensioned air cushion in the air chamber 10.
The control elements 13 and 17 and the shut-off element 16 can also be combined into a single control element, which is shown in a schematic manner in FIG. With 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 holes provided in a round slide mirror be distinguished. The bore 20 is connected to a feed line 25, the bore 21 with a line 26 leading to the air chamber, the bore 22 with a line 27 leading to the cylinder of the lowering piston, the bore 23 with a bypass line 28 leading to the line 27 and the borehole 24 with an idle line 29 in connection.
The above the slide mirror be sensitive, round slide 30 has on the underside a shell 31, which allows the holes 21 and 22 to connect to the hole 20 or to interrupt this connection, as well as the connection between the holes 21 and 22 among themselves to lift. A second, on the slide 30 before seen shell 32 is used to produce or interrupt a connection between tween the bores 23 and 24 of the slide mirror. The slide 30 is covered on the upper side by a hood. In this hood hydraulic fluid is fed, which has a higher pressure than the pressure fluid in the feed line 25. In the slide about 30 a through hole 33 is provided, which can be brought to cover the bore 23 in the slide mirror.
The shells 31, 32 and the bore 33 are shown in the lowering position labeled II, where the lowering piston compresses the air in the air chamber under the influence of the stack to be built up and sinks downwards. With I the filling position is referred to (connection of the bore 20 with 21 and 22), with III the Ent empty position (connection of the bores 23 and 24) and with IV the position during prepressing, where the bore 33 with the Boh tion 23 to cover is and the lowering piston for the purpose of pre-pressing pressure liquid of higher pressure is supplied.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3 be characterized 34 an air chamber, 35 from a lowering piston with associated cylinder 36, 37 a pressing bed located above the lowering piston and 38 a support device for the lowered pressing bed. A connecting line 39 is provided between the air chamber 34 and the cylinder 36. In the connecting line 39, a rotatable control member 40 is installed, the 41 and 42 has two bores. In the sectional plane of the bore 41, a feed line 43 and an idle line 44 is connected to the control member 40.
The feed line 43 can be brought into connection with a branch line 45 when the control element is in the appropriate position, and the idle line 44 with a branch line 46 of the connecting line 39 when the control element is in the appropriate position.
The bore 42 in the control member 40 is used; to connect the two strands of a bypass line 47 connected to the connecting line 39 with one another when the feed line 43 and the branch line 46 are in communication with one another by means of the bore 41 (filling position). The hand lever which actuates the control element is denoted by 48. In Fig. 6, the three Stel lungs of the hand lever 48 are labeled I, II and III.
I denotes the filling position, in which position a resilient buffer 50 is pushed back by a nose 49 of the hand lever 48, which automatically moves back into the position II (lowered position) after releasing the hand lever.
The HI position corresponds to the emptying position, where the idle line 44 is connected to the branch line 45 and the part of the connecting line 39 located on the side of the air chamber 34 is switched off from the remaining part of the connecting line, so that the pressure in the wind kettle remains in the emptying position, that is to say when lowering the lowering piston further, after the press bed 37 is seated on the support device 38. When the hand lever 48 is subsequently pivoted into position II, the lowering piston 35 with the press bed 37 is lifted up under the action of the tensioned air cushion in the air chamber until equilibrium is reached.
The hand lever is then swiveled into position I in order to replace the pressure fluid consumed during further lowering of the piston.
On the part of the connecting line 39 leading to the cylinder 36, a spring-loaded, manually operable drain valve 51 is provided, which can be opened against the spring action in order to be able to lower the lowering piston 35 when the hand lever is in position II, where there is pressure equalization between the cylinder 36 and the air chamber 34.
In order to be able to use the lowering piston 35 for pressing a resting stack on the press bed 37, a second feed line 52 can be connected to the feed line 39 in the vicinity of the cylinder 36, in which a shut-off element 53 is interposed. The feed line 52 is fed by a pressure fluid which has a higher pressure than the pressure fluid in the feed line 43. When the shut-off element 53 is open, the hand lever 48 is in the position designated II.
In order to prevent the ingress of hydraulic fluid of higher pressure into the air chamber in this case, a shut-off element 54 is seen in the connecting line 39 near the air chamber, which is closed when the piston 35 is used to press the stack .
The control element 40 and the two locking elements 53 and 54 can also be combined into a single control element. In Fig. 7 such, designed as a round flat slide control member is shown schematically table. Bores 55, 56, 57, 58 and 59 are provided in the slide mirror. The bore 55 is connected to a feed line 60, the bore 56 with a conduit 61 leading to the air tank, the bore 57 with a conduit 62 leading to the cylinder of the piston, the bore 58 with a bypass line 63 leading to the cylinder and the bore 59 with an idle line 64 in connection.
The round slide 65 located above the slide mirror has a shell 66 on the underside which allows the bores 56 and 57 to be connected to the bore 55 or to interrupt this connection, as well as to cancel the connection between the bores 56 and 57 among themselves. A second shell 67 provided in slide 65 is used to establish or interrupt a connection between the bores 58 and 59 of the viewing mirror. The slide 65 is covered on the top by a hood. Pressure fluid which has a higher pressure than the pressure fluid in the feed line 60 is fed into this hood.
In the Scbieber 65 a continuous Boh tion 68 is provided, which can be brought to cover the bore 58 in the slide mirror. The shells 66, 67 and the bore 68 are shown in the lowering position labeled II, where the lowering piston compresses the air in the air chamber under the influence of the stack to be built up and sinks downwards.
I denotes the filling position (connection of the bores 56 and 5 7 with the bore 55). with III the emptying position (connection of the bores 58 and 59 and interruption of the connection between the bores 56 and 57) and with IV the position when pressing sen, where the bore 68 is brought into congruence with the bore 58, so that the piston for pressing Druckfliissigheit higher pressure is supplied.
If the lowering piston is also used for pressing before, it can be designed as a stepped piston with a correspondingly abge stepped design of the cylinder. In this case, in the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the connecting line 9 can be connected to the cylinder ax of a smaller diameter and the feed line 18 can be connected to the cylinder part of a larger diameter, or vice versa.
In the Ausfüh tion according to FIG. 3 in this case, the connecting line 39 can be connected to the cylinder part of a smaller diameter and the feed line 52 to the cylinder part of a larger diameter or vice versa.
Designs are also possible in which two pistons of different diameters are telescoped into one another.
The method described and the facilities described can be used in all known types of presses, so in presses with at least one press bed to presses that have two or a greater number of press beds on a rotating frame or a turntable.
