Fig. 1 zeigt einen Schlüssel mit dem daran angebrachten, im Schnitt gezeichneten Hauptteil der Kontrollvorrichtung; Fig. 2 zeigt ein Stück des Schlüssels mit dem Hauptteil der Kontrollvorrichtung in Ansicht von oben;
Device for the control of locks with keys, which, when the key is removed from the lock, is able to indicate whether the lock has been closed or not. The present invention relates to a device for the control of locks with keys, which when ent removed key from the lock ver like to indicate whether the lock has been closed or not.
This control device is characterized according to the invention in that within a multi-part, attached to the key shaft and provided with a window guide sleeve, a display member is slidably arranged, the respectively on its outside Zei. Bears labels that are able to indicate whether the lock is closed or open, and the end facing away from the key head with a handle in A with a drive gear toothing is provided, and that next to the keyhole of the lock on this one with this drive gear cooperating tooth rake is provided, the whole thing in such a way,
that when the key to operate the lock in the sense of Schlie ssens or the opening of the same is inserted into the keyhole, said drive gear comes into engagement with the tooth rake on which this gear rolls when turning the key in a predetermined manner, whereby the Display member is adjusted so that the corresponding inscription respectively. the corresponding symbol appears on this display element in the window mentioned.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a key with the main part of the control device attached and drawn in section; Fig. 2 shows a piece of the key with the main part of the control device viewed from above;
Fig. 3 shows a piece of the door plate with the keyhole, and Fig. 4 is a cross section along the line IV-IV in Fig.1. On the shaft a (Fig. 1, 2 and 4) of the key shown, a two-part guide sleeve b is attached near the key head, within which an arcuate display member c is slidably mounted on shaft a, which may also be in the form of a two-part Sleeve could be formed.
On the outside of the display member c labels are seen before (Fig. 2), which indicate whether the lock was open, closed once or closed twice ge. Instead of inscriptions, certain symbols fulfilling the same purpose could also be provided. At the end of the key head facing away from the pointing member c, the latter is provided with a toothing d with which a drive gear e meshes which is rotatably mounted on a pin f arranged radially with respect to the key shaft.
This pin f is fastened to a segment-shaped cover plate g, which in turn is fastened to the sleeve b by means of screws 1a via a corresponding cutout in the sleeve b and is provided with a slot-shaped opening g1 through which, depending on the relative position of the two parts b, g and c, one or the other of the above-mentioned inscriptions is visible from the outside. Above the keyhole of the lock (FIG. 3) there is a toothed rake i provided with a few teeth.
If the key described above is inserted into the keyhole, the gear wheel e reached with the toothed wheel i in engagement, so that when turning the key, the display member c rotated by the drive connection made in this way, that is to say on this Tooth rake i is brought to unroll and consequently the corresponding inscription appears in the slit-shaped opening g1, so that the user of the key is at all times, even after he has pulled it out of the keyhole,
by looking at the key you can see whether it has closed the associated lock or not.
