  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlöslichen     Monoazofarbstoffes.            Gegenstand    des vorliegenden     7tasatzpaten-          tes    ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung     eines          wasserlöslichen        Monoazofarbstoffes,    welches  dadurch     gekennzeichnet    ist,

   dass man     @diazo-          tierte        4-Aminobenzylsulfonsäuremit        2-Äthyl-          amino    - 8 -     naphthol    - 6     -sulfonsäure    in alkali  schem Medium vereinigt.

           Beispiel:       <B>18,7</B>     Gewichtsteile        4-Aminobenzylsulfon-          säure        werden    in 200     Volumteilen    Wasser  mit 5,5     Gewichtsteilen        caleiniertem        Natrium-          earbonat    :gelöst.

   Diese     Lösung        wird        in    25       Volumteile    Salzsäure von 20'     B6    ;gegossen  und in Gegenwart von     Fis    mit 6,9 Gewichts  teilen     Natriumnitrit        diazotiert.    Die erhaltene       Diazolösung        wird        bei    0   C mit     einer        Lösung     von 80     Gewichtsteilen        ,2-Äthylamino-8-naph-          tIiol-6-sulfonsäure    (Hol.

       Gew.    289)     in        Gegen-          wart    von     überschüssiger    Natriumcarbonat-         lösung        vereinigt.    Nach     beendeter    Kupplung  wird der Farbstoff isoliert und getrocknet.  Fr     bildet    ein braunes Pulver, das sich     in          Wasser    mit     brauner    Farbe löst und     Zeder    in  braunen Tönen gut     durehfärbt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasser löslichen Monoazofarbstoffes,dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man idiazotierte 4-Amino- benzylsulfonssäure mit '2-Äthylamino-8-naph- thol-6-sulfon6äure in alkalischem Medium vereinigt. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein braunes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit brau ner Farbe löst und Leder in braunen Tönen gut durchfärbt.
