Description
Bandagendraht.
Bandage wire. It is known to produce non-magnetic bandage wires from austenitic iron-chromium-nickel, iron-chromium-manganese and iron-chromium-nickel-manganese alloys. However, the hard-drawn bandage wires produced from these steel alloys have the disadvantage that they become brittle during operation or even during storage.
The aim of the invention is to create non-magnetic bandage wires, in particular for the Ban daging of the end windings of electrical Ma machines, which are free from the indicated disadvantage. This purpose is achieved according to the invention by non-magnetic bandage wires made of an austenitic steel alloy containing 12 to 24% chromium, 6 to 60% at least one austenite-forming element, 1 to 6% copper and Contains 0.02 to 0.4% carbon. Austenite-forming elements are understood to mean nickel, manganese and cobalt.
If only nickel is present of these elements, the nickel content is expediently 7 to 60%; if only manganese is present, the content of this element is expediently 6 to 20%. If cobalt is the only one of the austenite-forming elements present, its content is expediently 12 to 60%. If several of the austenite-forming elements are present at the same time, the contents of the individual elements can be kept correspondingly smaller. The total content of austenite-forming elements is within the limits of 6 to Q60%.
Bandage wires made of steel alloys with 15 to 20 chromium, 7 to 11% nickel, 1 to 3% copper and 0.02 to 0.2% carbon have proven particularly useful.
In addition to the elements already mentioned, the alloys used according to the invention can also contain titanium, vanadium, tau tal, niobium, tungsten or molybdenum, individually or in groups, up to 5%.
