Description
.Stracer for razor blades. The invention relates to a puller for razor blades, knives and the like, which has a U-shaped bracket. In the free leg ends opposite grinding bodies are arranged, which together form a groove, the whole being designed in such a way that the edge of a razor blade or knife can be inserted into this groove by hand and moved past the grinding bodies for sharpening.
The subject of the invention is shown on the drawing in two exemplary Ausfüh approximate forms.
Fig. 1 and 2 show an embodiment in a front view.
The bracket 1 has two legs 2, which carry recesses 3 at the ends, in the grinding wheel 4, respectively. 5 are used. Between these grinding wheels the Ra sierklinge 6 is inserted with the cutting edge by hand and always pulled back and forth between the grinding bodies in one direction or in both directions. In the embodiment of FIG. 1, the grinding bodies 4 have a round cross-section and are as small cylinders educated. As a result, the grinding surfaces are curved.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the grinding bodies 5 have a trapezoidal cross-section, the grinding surfaces of both grinding bodies form an acute angle with one another, which is adapted to the cutting edge shape of the Ra sierklinge. In the Schleifkör pern 5 are offset to each other elevations 7 and depressions brought in a known manner, which interlock and form an acute-angled grinding groove.
The bracket can be elastic. It can consist of rubber, for example, so that it is possible to press the two grinding bodies together more strongly by pressing the legs of the bracket with your hand and to increase the grinding effect on the blade. However, there is also the possibility of producing the bracket from metal and designing it in such a way that it springs under the closing pressure of the hand, so that the grinding pressure can be increased or decreased as desired.
The grinding wheels can be made of emery or synthetic resin, with round grinding wheels distributed around the circumference, longitudinal strips of different fineness can be arranged. The longitudinal strips can be brought into their working position by turning the grinding wheel.
