Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung einer     Thiazoliumverbindung.       Das Hauptpatent     betrifft    die Herstellung  einer durch     antineuritische    Wirkung ausge  zeichneten     Pyrimidylalkylthiazoliumverbin-          dung.     



  Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer     Thiazo-          liumverbindung,    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass  man     2-Methyl-4-amino-5-jodmethyl-pyrimidin-          hydrojodid    auf     4-Äthyl-5-oxyäthyl-thiazol    ein  wirken lässt. Das so erhältliche     Hydrojodid     des N - (2' -     Methyl    - 4'-     aminopyrimidyl    -     [5']        -          methyl)-4-äthyl-5-oxyäthyl-thiazoliumjodids     bildet Kristalle vom F. 212  .

   Die Verbindung  zeigt eine starke     antineuritische    Wirksamkeit  und soll therapeutische Anwendung finden.  <I>Beispiel:</I>  5 g     2-Methyl-4-amino-5-jodmethyl-pyrimi-          din-hydrojodid    werden mit 5 g     4-Äthyl        -5-          oxyäthylthiazol        1/2    Stunde auf     120-130'    er  hitzt. Die Schmelze wird mit Äther verrührt    und das zurückbleibende Pulver aus Alkohol  und etwas Wasser umkristallisiert.

   Man er  hält das     Hydrojodid    des N-(2'-Methyl-4'       aminopyrimidyl-[5']-methyl)-4-äthyl-5-oxy-          äthyl-thiazoliumjodids    in Kristallen vom  F. 212  . Die Verbindung zeigt eine starke       antineuritische        Wirksamkeit.

   The compound shows strong antineuritic activity and is said to find therapeutic use. <I> Example: </I> 5 g of 2-methyl-4-amino-5-iodomethyl-pyrimidine hydroiodide are heated to 120-130 'for 1/2 hour with 5 g of 4-ethyl-5-oxyethylthiazole . The melt is stirred with ether and the remaining powder is recrystallized from alcohol and a little water.

   He holds the hydroiodide of N- (2'-methyl-4 'aminopyrimidyl- [5'] - methyl) -4-ethyl-5-oxyethyl-thiazolium iodide in crystals of F. 212. The compound shows strong anti-neuritic activity.

 

Claims (1)

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Thiazo- liumverbindung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 2-lflethyl-4-amino-5-jodmethyl-pyrimidin- hydrojodid auf 4-Äthyl-5-oxyäthylthiazol ein wirken lässt. Das so erhältliche Hydrojodid des N-(2'- Methyl - 4'- aminopyrimidyl - [5'] - methyl) -4 - äthyl-5-oxyäthyl-thiazoliumjodids bildet Kri stalle vom F. 212 . PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of a thiazolium compound, characterized in that 2-lflethyl-4-amino-5-iodomethyl-pyrimidine-hydroiodide is allowed to act on 4-ethyl-5-oxyethylthiazole. The thus obtainable hydroiodide of N- (2'-methyl-4'-aminopyrimidyl - [5 '] - methyl) -4 - ethyl-5-oxyethyl-thiazolium iodide forms crystals from F. 212.
