Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     chromierbaren        Farbstoffes    der     Triarylmethanreihe.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz  patentes     ist    ein Verfahren zur     Herstellung     eines     ehromierbaren    Farbstoffes der     Triaryl-          methanreihe,    welches dadurch gekennzeich  net ist, dass man 1     Mol        5-Ogytrimellitsäure-          anhydrid        mit    2     Mol        Pyrogallol    kondensiert.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  25 Gewichtsteile     Pyrogallol,    21 Gewichts  teile     5-Ogytrimellitsäureanhydrid    werden bei  190-200   C unter     Luftabschluss    3-4 Stun  den verschmolzen. Die pulverisierte Schmelze       wird    aus     wässrigem    Alkohol umkristallisiert.  



  Der so erhaltene Farbstoff hat vermutlich  folgende     Konstitution:

    Es kann auch ein     Isomeres    vorliegen, in dem  die Stellung der     ortho-ständigen        Hydrogyl-          oder        Carbogylgruppe    vertauscht ist. Der  Farbstoff färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in    roten Tönen, die beim     Nachchromieren        violett     werden und ausgezeichnete Echtheitseigen  schaften besitzen.
