  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.   <B>205169.</B>    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren     Farbstoffes    der     Triphenylmethanreihe.       Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren Farb  stoffes der     Triphenylmethanreihe,    welches da  durch gekennzeichnet ist,

       dass    man den durch  Kondensation von     4.4'-Dichlorbenzophenon     mit     1-Isobutyl-2-p-chlorphenyl-4.6-dimethyl-          indol    erhältlichen     Ti-iphenylmethanfarbstoff    mit       1-Alethylamino-4-methoxybenzol    verschmilzt  und den so erhaltenen Farbstoff zur     Disulfon-          säure        sulflert.    Bei dieser Umsetzung tritt  <B>1</B>     Mol    des     Triphenylmethanfarbstoff    es mit 2     Mol          Methylaminometboxybenzol    in Reaktion.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  Das durch Kondensation von 4.     4'-Dichlor-          benzophenon    mit     1-Isobutyl-2-p-chlorphenyl-          4.6-dimethyliridol    erhältliche Kondensations  produkt wird mehrere, z. B. drei Stunden, mit  überschüssigem     1-Methylainino-4-methoxy-          benzol    bei 120<B>0 C</B> verschmolzen und der ent  standene     basischeblaueFarbstoff        wirddurch          Ausrühren    mit verdünnter Salzsäure gereinigt.

    Durch Sulfonieren des     Parbstoffes    mit kon  zentrierter Schwefelsäure bei gewöhnlicher  Temperatur zur     Disulfonsäure,    entsteht ein  Farbstoff, der Wolle und Seide in     grünstichig-          blauen    Tönen färbt. Der Farbstoff hat wahr-
