Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 207345. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Leukoindophenol, wie es durch Um setzung von 4'-Acetylaminophenyl-l-naph- thylamin mit p-Nitrosophenol und nachfol gende Reduktion erhältlich ist, in Gegen wart einer Kupferverbindung mit einem Alkalipolysulfid behandelt.
Der so erhaltene Schwefelfarbstoff bil det ein dunkelgraues Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grünlich blauer Farbe löst. Aus dem Schwefel natriumbad erhält man auf der pflanzlichen Faser eine klare grüne Färbung mit guten Echtheitseigenschaften.
Beispiel: 10 Teile des durch Umsetzung von 4'-Acetylaminophenyl-l-naphthylamin mit p-Nitrosophenol und nachfolgende Reduk tion erhältlichen Leukoindophenols werden mit einem Polysulfid aus 17 Teilen konzen triertem Schwefelnatrium und 23 Teilen Schwefel in 100 Teilen Butylalkohol unter Zusatz von 6 Teilen Kupfersulfat mehrere Stunden unter Rückflusskühlung gekocht. Nach dem Abdestillieren des Butylalkohols wird der Farbstoff in der üblichen Weise aufgearbeitet.

The sulfur dye obtained in this way forms a dark gray powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a greenish blue color. A clear green coloration with good fastness properties is obtained on the vegetable fiber from the sodium sulfur bath.
Example: 10 parts of the leucoindophenol obtainable by reacting 4'-acetylaminophenyl-l-naphthylamine with p-nitrosophenol and subsequent reduction are concentrated with a polysulfide of 17 parts of sodium sulfur and 23 parts of sulfur in 100 parts of butyl alcohol with the addition of 6 parts of copper sulfate boiled under reflux for several hours. After the butyl alcohol has been distilled off, the dye is worked up in the usual way.
