Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn man /c-Heptadecyl-imidazolin in Gegenwart einer Säure mit methylolacetamidsulfonsau- rem Natrium umsetzt.
Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in Ge genwart von konzentrierter Schwefelsäure vorgenommen.
Das neue Kondensationsprodukt bildet in Form des Natriumsalzes eine feste Masse, die in Wasser unter starkem Schäumen löslich ist und stark kapillaraktive Eigenschaften besitzt. Es kann als Textilhilfsstoff verwen det werden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 6 Gewichtsteile ,u-Heptadecyl-imidazolin werden in 40 Gewichtsteilen konz. Schwefel säure bei 10 bis '20' gelöst. Hierauf werden unter Rühren 5 Gewichtsteile fein pulveri siertes methylolacetamidsulfonsaures Na trium eingetragen. Nach 20stündigem Rüh ren bei Raumtemperatur ist eine Probe in Wasser, auch nach dem Neutralisieren mit Soda, löslich. Das Produkt wird auf Eis ge- gossen und die Sulfonsäure mit Butylalko- hol ausgezogen.
Durch Aufnehmen in Was ser, Neutralisieren mit Soda und Eindamp fen im Vakuum wird das Natriumsalz er halten.

The reaction is expediently carried out in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid.
The new condensation product forms a solid mass in the form of the sodium salt, which is soluble in water with strong foaming and has strong capillary-active properties. It can be used as a textile auxiliary.
<I> Example: </I> 6 parts by weight, u-heptadecyl-imidazoline are concentrated in 40 parts by weight. Sulfuric acid dissolved at 10 to '20'. Then 5 parts by weight of finely pulverized methylolacetamidsulfonic acid sodium are entered with stirring. After 20 hours of stirring at room temperature, a sample is soluble in water, even after neutralization with soda. The product is poured onto ice and the sulfonic acid is extracted with butyl alcohol.
The sodium salt is obtained by taking up in water, neutralizing with soda and evaporating in vacuo.
