Dispositif pour faciliter l'ouverture d'une boîte. L'objet de l'invention .est un dispositif pour faciliter l'ouverture d'une, boîte compor tant un corps et un couvercle s'emboîtant sur ce corps. Ce dispositif est caractérisé par un bras monté rotativement sur le couvercle, à l'intérieur de celui-ci, et manoeuvrable de l'extérieur, le tout de façon que, lorsqu'on fait tourner ce bras, celui-ci prend appui sur le bord supérieur du corps de la boîte pour soulever le couvercle.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en plan, la fig. 2 une vue en élévation, et les fig. 3 et 4 des coupes, respectivement par III-III et par IV-IV de fig. 1.
Le dessin représente le dispositif selon l'invention, appliqué à une boîte métallique pouvant contenir de la graisse pour chaus sures, de la pommade, des pastilles, etc.
La forme d'exécution représentée est mon tée sur une boîte métallique cylindrique pré- Çentani un corps 1 et un couvercle 2; le cou- vercle 2 s'emboîte sur le corps 1 à l'extérieur de celui-ci.
Sur la partie cylindrique du couvercle est monté rotativement un arbre 3 portant, per pendiculairement à -son axe, à l'intérieur du couvercle, un bras métallique 4 et, à l'exté rieur, une manette 5 ; entre la manette 5 et le couvercle 2 est placée une -rondelle métalli que 6 destinée à éloigner un peu la manette du couvercle; le bras 4 et la manette 5 sont rivés sur l'axe 3; ce rivetage est fait de telle manière, que le tout soit serré contre le cou vercle, afin qu'il faille,exercer un certain ef fort pour faire tourner l'arbre dans le cou vercle. Le bras 4 est disposé de telle manière, qu'en tournant, il puisse entrer en contact avec le bord supérieur du corps 1.
La manière d'utiliser le dispositif est la suivante Au repos, le bras 4 est dans la position indiquée en traits pleins dans la fig. 3. Lors qu'on veut ouvrir la boîte, celle-ci est saisie d'une main par son corps 1, l'autre main sai sissant 1e, manette 5; en faisant tourner celle- ci, on amène le bras 4 en contact avec le bord supérieur du corps 1 (position indi quée en traits mixtes dans la fi-.<B>3)</B> et un appui sur celui-ci fait soulever le couvercle. quelle que soit la force avec, laquelle le cou vercle est engagé sur le corps de la boîte. On a alors le corps de la boîte dans une main .et le couvercle dans l'autre main.
Le dispositif décrit et représenté permet. d'ouvrir facilement des boîtes en évitant. de se souiller les mains ou de laisser eboir le couvercle de la. boîte.

The embodiment shown is mounted on a cylindrical metal box with a body 1 and a cover 2; the cover 2 fits on the body 1 on the outside of the latter.
On the cylindrical part of the cover is rotatably mounted a shaft 3 carrying, perpendicularly to its axis, inside the cover, a metal arm 4 and, on the outside, a handle 5; between the lever 5 and the cover 2 is placed a metal-washer 6 intended to move the lever a little away from the cover; the arm 4 and the lever 5 are riveted to the axis 3; this riveting is done in such a way that the whole is tight against the cover, so that it is necessary to exert a certain force to make the shaft turn in the cover. The arm 4 is arranged in such a way that by turning it can come into contact with the upper edge of the body 1.
The way of using the device is as follows. At rest, the arm 4 is in the position indicated in solid lines in FIG. 3.
