Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von in der gälte schnell erhärtenden säure- und alkallbeständigen Mässen. Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von in der Kälte schnell :
erhärtenden säure- und alkalibestän- digen Massen aus Phenolformaldehydharzen, die nur so weit kondensiert sind, dass sie .sich noch im flüssigen Zustand 'befinden, und die durch Zusatz von neutralen oder sauren Er härtungsstoffen zur Verfestigung gebracht werden, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass den Massen aliphatische Ester zugesetzt werden.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von in der Kälte schnell erhärtenden säure- und alkalibeständigen Massen aus Phenolformal- dehydharzen, die nur so, weit kondensiert sind, dass-sie sich noch im flüssigen Zustand befinden, und die durch Zusatz von neutra len oder sauren Erhärtungsstoffen zur Ver festigung gebracht werden, das dadurch ge- kennzeichnet ist, dass den Massen Paratoluol- sulfochlorid und Glykolchlorhydrin zugesetzt werden.
Zweckmässig wird eine Mischung der vor kondensierten noch flüssigen Harze und des Glykolchlorhydrins hergestellt und diese Mi schung erst beim Anmachen mit Kittmehlen vermischt, die das p-Toluolsulfochlorid ent halten.
Diese Arbeitsweise bietet den Vor teil, dass die flüssige Harzmischung und das den Erhärtungss toff p -Toluolsulfoch#lorid enthaltende Kittmehl gesondert ziemlich lange .gelagert werden können, und dass nach dem Anmischen sehr bald die Härtung ein setzt. Das Kittmehl enthält zweckmässigerweise ausser dem Paratoluolsülfoehlorid noch indif ferente Füllstoffe, z. B.
Quarzmehl, insbe sondere solche von guter Wärmeleitfähigkeit. <I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Gewichtsteile Paratoluolsulfochlorid werden mit 60 Gewichtsteilen Bariumsulfat und 20 Gewichtsteilen grobkörnigen Quarz mehls vermischt und das Kittmehl mit einer Anmischfl'üs.sigkeit, bestehend aus 30 Volum- teilen vorkondensiertem flüssigem Phenol formaldehydharz und 10 Volumteilen Gly- ko,
