Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 211492. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen Azo- farbstoff erhält, wenn man 4-Amino-4',di- methylamino-1,1'=azobenzol mit nitrierend wirkenden Mitteln behandelt, so,dass eine Ni- trogruppe in das Farbstoffmolekül eintritt.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein gelbes Pulver, das sich in organischen: Lö sungsmitteln, wie Aceton, Essigsäureäthyl- ester, mit gelber Farbe löst und das aus wässeriger Suspension Acetatkunstseide in echten, gelbbraunen Tönen f ärbt.
Beispiel: <B>300</B> Teile Schwefelsäure werden auf 0 abgekühlt und unter Rühren mit 27 Teilen 4 - Amino - 4'- dimethylamino -1,1' - azobenzol versetzt. Man gibt eine Mischung, bestehend aus 7 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure und 7 Teilen konzentrierter Salpetersäure zu und rührt bei 0 bis 5 solange, bis die Nitrie- rung beendet ist.
Die Lösung wird in Eiswasser ausgetra gen und der ausgeschiedene Farbstoff ab filtriert und neutral gewaschen.
Additional patent to main patent no. 211492. Process for the production of an azo dye. It has been found that an azo dye is obtained if 4-amino-4 ', dimethylamino-1,1' = azobenzene is treated with nitrating agents so that a nitro group enters the dye molecule.
The dye obtained in this way forms a yellow powder which dissolves in organic solvents such as acetone, ethyl acetate, with a yellow color and which, from an aqueous suspension, dyes acetate rayon in real, yellow-brown tones.
Example: 300 parts of sulfuric acid are cooled to 0 and 27 parts of 4-amino-4'-dimethylamino -1,1'-azobenzene are added while stirring. A mixture consisting of 7 parts of concentrated sulfuric acid and 7 parts of concentrated nitric acid is added and the mixture is stirred at 0 to 5 until the nitration has ended.
The solution is extracted in ice water and the precipitated dye is filtered off and washed neutral.
