Method for improving combustion in a heating furnace, and device for carrying out this method. To ensure satisfactory combustion in any fireplace, it is necessary that the flow of gas - air or oxygen - necessary for combustion is sufficient, especially in the part of the fireplace above the fire, where, according to them. conditions of the draft, there are the more or less large quantities of particles, incompletely burnt which risk being lost in the chimney.
The present invention comprises a process for improving the combustion in a heating furnace, by means of flow gas, this process being characterized by the fact that the flow gas is preheated and brought to then, in adjustable quantity, in the place of the hearth where it will act most effectively.
The invention also comprises a device for carrying out the method, characterized in that it comprises an economi seur, consisting of a hollow body made of fire-resistant material, provided with an inlet pipe to the fire. means of which it is mounted inside the hearth in which it is desired to improve the combustion, at one end of a supply pipe for the inflow gas, the other end of which opens to the outside , said hollow body having internal partitions mounted in a baffle and at least one adjustable -degl.able outlet opening for the inflow gas,
the supply line being arranged so that the inflow gas, which heats up during its passage through the economizer, leaves the latter at the location of the hearth where it will act most effectively.
The drawing represents, schematically and by way of example, an embodiment of the device which the invention comprises.
Fig. I shows, in longitudinal section, the economiseur that comprises said embodiment -du device. Fig. 2, shows, in vertical section, said device mounted in a central heating furnace,
the supply line for the inflow gas being shown in dotted lines in three variant embodiments. The economizer shown in fig. 1 consists of a hollow body 1 widened in its part bordering an inlet pipe? By means of which it is mounted on the end of a pipe 3 for supplying the flow gas; internally, the body 1 is provided with partitions 4, 5 and 6 arranged in a baffle and with tines to promote the so-called gas heating.
The economizer tapers into an open end 7 provided with outlet openings for the inflow gas and one of them can be seen at 8. The stopper 9, screwed into the end 7 said body of the economizer. is intended to regulate the degree of opening of the outlets 8.
As seen in fig. 2, the supply line of the influx baz. the free end of which opens to the outside, has a length and a configuration determined by the right of the furnace by which it is introduced into the latter. and such that the influx Paz leaves the econonti; eur at the place of the hearth where it will act, as efficiently as possible, for example as close as possible to the gases present. in the vicinity of the burning mass occupying the hearth.
As can be seen shown in FIG. ?. the. supply pipe of the inflow gas to the small economizer to be introduced into the furnace 10 through a fine opening made either at the base of the chimney 11. or in the upper anterior corner 12 said furnace, or in a pa- side king 13 of the load door frame.
