Gamasche. Die Beinpartien beim Menschen mit nor maler Kleidung sind den Wetterunbilden aus gesetzt. Bei Herren werden die Hosen de formiert und beschmutzt, was besonders für Yelofahrer gilt. Bei Damen werden die dünnen Strümpfe rasch nass, geben zu Erkältungen Anlass und sind in hohem Masse Beschädi gungen unterworfen. Die bis jetzt gebräuch lichen Schutzvorrichtungen sind schwer und wirken unschön, was z. B. die auf Eleganz eingestellte Damenwelt stört.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist nun eine Gamasche mit einem vom Fuss bis mindestens nahe ans Knie reichenden Bein schutzstück aus durchsichtigem, wasserfestem, flach zusammenlegbarem Material. Da die Gamasche flach zusammengelegt werden kann, ist sie bequem mitzuführen.
In der Zeichnung sind zwei beispielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegenstan des dargestellt. Es zeigen Fig. 1 eine erste und Fig. 2 eine zweite Ausführungsform der Gamasche in geöffnetem Zustand. Fig.3 zeigt die Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1 als Stulpengamasche am Bein einer Dame und Fig.4 die Gamasche nach Fig.2 als Stulpengamasche am Bein eines Herrn.
Die Gamasche gemäss Fig. 1 und 3 besteht aus einer rechteckigen oder in Strumpfform geschnittenen Folie 1 aus Ölseide, Pliofilm (durchsichtiger, gummiartiger Kunststoff) oder auch aus imprägniertem, mit Garnfilet ver stärktem Kunststoff. Die Ränder der Folie 1 sind ringsum verstärkt (eingesäumt),
wobei der obere und der untere Rand 2 bezw. 3 schlauchförmig ausgebildet und mit einem Zugband 4 bezw. 5 versehen ist. 6 sind Lüf- tungsöffnungen, welche von einem aus gleichem Material bestehenden Streifen 7 lose überdeckt sind. Diese Öffnungen 6 sollen die durch das Beinschutzstück stark behinderte Hautatmung des Körpers erleichtern.
Der Deckstreifen 7 ist am Beinschutz 1 mittels Druckknöpfen 8 befestigt und kann auch in einer die Öffnung 6 freilassenden Stellung an den daneben vor gesehenen Druckknöpfen 8' befestigt werden. 9 ist eile ebenfalls aus gleichem Material wie die Folie 1 bestehender Schutzschild, welcher die Ristpartie des Fusses schützt, indem er das Wasser über den Fuss hinaus ableitet.
Die beschriebene Gamasche ist sowohl für Damen als auch für Herren geeignet und kann, wie Fig. 3 zeigt, mittels der Zugbänder 4, 5 aln Bein festgemacht werden. Sie reicht vom Fuss bis mindestens nahe an die Knie hinauf, ist leicht anziehbar und abnehmbar und kann infolge ihrer Geschmeidigkeit flach zusammen gelegt und stets bequem mitgeführt werden.
Sie bildet infolge der Durchsichtigkeit des dazu verwendeten Materials und seiner Pie- flextionsw irkung ein schönes, effektvolles Klei dungsstück für Damen und Herren und einen praktischen Ausrüstungsgegenstand für Rad fahrer.
Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. und 4 ist die Gamasche statt mit Zugbändern an ihren seitlichen Rändern 10 mit Druckknöpfen 11 versehen. Sie wird, wie Fig. 4 zeigt, hinten geschlossen. Die Lüftungsöffnungen können bei dieser Ausführungsform weggelassen wer den, da sie bestimmt ist, über langen Herren hosen befestigt zu werden, daher weit genug ausgebildet ist und die Ausdünstung des Beines nicht stark behindert. Natürlich kann auch diese Ausführungsform an das Bein eng an schliessend ausgeführt werden, so dass sie für Herren mit kurzen Hosen oder Golfanzug und besonders für Damen verwendbar ist.

The present invention is a gaiter with a leg protection piece from the foot to at least close to the knee made of transparent, waterproof, flat collapsible material. Since the gaiter can be folded flat, it is easy to carry with you.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject invention are shown. 1 shows a first and FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment of the gaiter in the open state. 3 shows the embodiment according to FIG. 1 as a gaiter on a lady's leg and FIG. 4 shows the gaiter according to FIG. 2 as a gaiter on a man's leg.
The gaiter according to FIGS. 1 and 3 consists of a rectangular or stocking-shaped sheet 1 made of oil silk, Pliofilm (transparent, rubber-like plastic) or of impregnated plastic reinforced with yarn fillet. The edges of the film 1 are reinforced (hemmed) all around,
wherein the upper and lower edge 2 respectively. 3 tubular and with a drawstring 4 respectively. 5 is provided. 6 are ventilation openings which are loosely covered by a strip 7 made of the same material. These openings 6 are intended to facilitate skin breathing of the body, which is severely impeded by the leg protection piece.
The cover strip 7 is attached to the leg protection 1 by means of snaps 8 and can also be attached in a position that leaves the opening 6 on the snaps 8 'seen next to it. 9 is also made of the same material as the film 1, which protects the instep of the foot by draining the water beyond the foot.
The gaiter described is suitable for both women and men and, as FIG. 3 shows, can be fastened to the leg by means of the drawstrings 4, 5. It stretches from the foot to at least close to the knees, is easy to put on and take off and, thanks to its suppleness, can be folded flat and carried comfortably at all times.
Due to the transparency of the material used for this purpose and its peep-flex effect, it forms a beautiful, effective piece of clothing for women and men and a practical item of equipment for cyclists.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 4, the gaiter is provided with snap fasteners 11 on its lateral edges 10 instead of with drawstrings. As shown in FIG. 4, it is closed at the rear. The vents can be omitted in this embodiment who, since it is intended to be attached over long men's pants, is therefore formed far enough and does not hinder the evaporation of the leg. Of course, this embodiment can also be made close to the leg so that it can be used for men with shorts or golf suits and especially for women.
