Strandschirm. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein .Strandschirm, welcher vier in Cre- braachslage -mit ihren einen Enden mit eine. Halterkopf verbundene Stäbe aufweist, ferner ein viereckiges,
auswechselbares Tuch, dias als Schinnmbespannung dient, wobei d'ess:en Ecken lüsibar mit,den freien Stabenden ver- bunden sind. Zweckmässig ist ferner ein hohler Schaft vorgesehen,
dessen Hohlraum zur Auf- nah>mme der Stäbe und des Tucheis bei Nicht gebrauch dies IS,chirmes bestimmt ist.
Ein Ausführungäbeispiel -des Erfindungsi- egenstandes ist auf beiliegendier Zeichnung g o dargestellt, in welcher F'ig. 1 den Strandscbirm im iSenkrechten Schnitt nach Linie I-I in Fig. 2 ,darstellt. Fig. 2 ist eine Draufsicht von Fig. 1.
Fig. 3 zeigt im senkrechten Schnitt und in ,grösserem Massstab den Schirm bei Nicllt- gebrauoh.
Fi,g. 4 und 5 zeigen in grösserem M'assotab eine Einoelheit und Fig. 6 eine Detailvariante. 1 bezeichnet -den hohlen .Schaft, der an einem <B>Ende</B> einen Halterko@pf 2, für vier Stäbe 3 besitzt,
welch letztere mit ihren einen Enden in Querbohrungen 4 des Halterkopf es 2 eingesetzt i sind und:
ein Stabkreuz bilden. Mit den freien Enden der Stä@b,e 3 sind die Ecken eines viereckigen Tuches 5, des als (Sohirmb#es#p,annung wirkt, lösbar verbunden. Diesle Verbindung erfolgt zweckmässig da- ,durch,

, in welbhe das abgerundete freie Ende 7 eines Stabes 3 eingesteckt isst, wie in dien Fig. 4 und' 5 :
gezeigt. Die Länge edier <B>Silbe</B> 3 wird so gewähh, @dass die Entfernung der freien Enden der Arme ödest Stabkreuzes etwas grösser ist als die Diagonalen -des Tuches,
wodurch die Stäbe 3 nach Aufbrin- gen cdes 'Tuches schwach gebogen werden und ,die Bespannung sich dieser Form anpasst.
Auf das untere Ende dies Schaftes 1 ist ein hohler Griff 8 aufgesteckt, an welchem -eine Kordel 9 angebracht ist.
Wird der Strandschirm nicht gebraucht, so werden die Stäbe 3 und das um sie ge wickelte Tuch 5 im Hohlraum des Schaftes 1 untergebracht und der Griff 8 auf das untere Schaftende aufgesteckt,
wie in Fig. 3 ge- zeigt. Zweckmässig werden Stäbe, Sehaft und Griff aus Holz hergestellt, sie können natür lich auch aus einem andern Material, z. B. aus Kunstmasse, bestehen.
Die viereckige Farm der Bespannung des Straaldschirmes bringt den Vorteil, dassr als Bespannung die hiandelsüblichen bunten Tücher benützt werden können, wobei die Tücher ausweehsselbar sind und: der jeweili gen Farbe der Kleider oder Bade- bezw:
Strandkostüme der Schirmträgerin entspre chend gewählt werden können. Ferner hat die viereckige Bespannung noch den Vorteil, dass der mit einer gante und Griff auf den Strand gesetzte Schirm in seiner Lage ver harrt und nicht wegrollt wie Schirme mit runder Bespannung.
Falls die Benützerin aus ästhetischen Rücksichten den dicken Schirmschaft nicht wünscht, kann auch noch ein dünner Schaft 10 vorgesehen sein, wie in Fig. 6 gezeigt,
der an seinem obern Ende den Halterkopf 2 trägt und mit seinem untern Ende im Griff 8 lösbar befestigt ist.
Wenn der Durchmesser des Halterkopfes klein-er als die Bohrung des hohlen Schafteis 1 gewählt wird, so kann bei Nichtgebrauch des Schirmes auch der dünne Schaft 10 ,mit Stäben 3 und Tuch 5 im Hohl- raum des Schaftes 1 verstaut werden.

whereby the rods 3 are slightly bent after the cloth has been applied, and the covering adapts to this shape.
On the lower end of this shaft 1, a hollow handle 8 is attached to which a cord 9 is attached.
If the beach umbrella is not needed, the rods 3 and the cloth 5 wrapped around them are housed in the cavity of the shaft 1 and the handle 8 is attached to the lower end of the shaft,
as shown in FIG. 3. Appropriately rods, shaft and handle are made of wood, they can of course Lich made of another material such. B. made of synthetic material.
The square farm of the covering of the Straald umbrella has the advantage that the commercially available colored cloths can be used as covering, whereby the cloths can be exchanged and: the respective color of the clothes or bathing or:
Beach costumes of the umbrella wearer can be chosen accordingly. Furthermore, the square covering has the advantage that the umbrella, which is placed on the beach with a single grip, remains in its position and does not roll away like umbrellas with a round covering.
If the user does not want the thick umbrella shaft for aesthetic reasons, a thin shaft 10 can also be provided, as shown in FIG. 6,
which carries the holder head 2 at its upper end and is releasably attached with its lower end in the handle 8.
If the diameter of the holder head is selected to be smaller than the bore of the hollow shaft 1, then the thin shaft 10 with rods 3 and cloth 5 can also be stowed in the cavity of the shaft 1 when the umbrella is not in use.
