Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 223541. Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren Disazofarbstofes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren Disazofarbstoffes, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man 4,4'-Dimethogy-3,3'- diaminodiphenylsulfon tetrazotiert und die Tetrazoverbindung mit 2 Mol 2-Amino-8- ogy naphthalin-6-sulfonsäure in saurer Lö sung kuppelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 30,8 Teile 4,4'-Dimethogy-3,3'-diamino- diphenylsulfon werden in üblicher Weise tetrazotiert. Die Tetrazoniumlösung kuppelt man mit 47,8 Teilen 2-Amino-8-ogynaphtha- lin-6-sulfonsäure, die man in 200 Teilen Wasser mit der nötigen Sodamenge neutral gelöst und wieder mit Salzsäure durch An säuern bis zu kongosaurer Reaktion ausgefällt hat. Die Kupplung erfolgt langsam, durch Erwärmen und Zusatz von Natriumacetat kann sie jedoch beschleunigt werden.
Nach Beendigung der Farbstoffbildung stellt man mit Sodalösung kongoneutral, filtriert und trocknet. Der Farbstoff, ein dunkelrotes Pul ver, löst sich in Wasser rot, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure violett und färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in blauroten, lichtechten Tönen.

The tetrazonium solution is coupled with 47.8 parts of 2-amino-8-ogynaphthalin-6-sulfonic acid, which has been dissolved neutrally in 200 parts of water with the necessary amount of soda and precipitated again with hydrochloric acid by acidifying to a Congo-acidic reaction. The coupling is slow, but it can be accelerated by heating and adding sodium acetate.
