Der Holzstiel 1 trägt an seinem vordern Ende eine Metallhülse 2, die einen zen trischen, mit spitzen, gespreizten Zungen; 3' versehenen Dorn 3 aufweist. Durch die im Stiel 1 ausgespreizten Zungen 3' ist die Metallhülse im Stiel verankert. Das vordere Ende der kletallhülse 2 ist nach vorn konisch verjüngt und weist eine sich in den Dorn 3 erstreckende Gewindebohrung 4 mit Metall gewinde auf, in welches ein Schrauben bolzen 5 mit einem zylindrischen. Bolzen ende 5a eingeschraubt ist.
Das vordere Bolzenende 5b ist mit Holzschraubengewinde versehen und mittels diesem in den Grund der üblichen, zum Einsetzen des Stiels be stimmten Vertiefung 6 des Bürstenkörpers 7 in diesem soweit eingeschraubt, dass die Metallhülse 2 mit der konischen Endfläche 2' auf dem Rand der Vertiefung 6 festauf- sitzt.
Bei am Bürstenkörper befestigtem Stiel hat dieser einerseits durch den Schrauben bolzen und anderseits durch die konische Endfläche der Metallhülse am Bürstenkörper einen festen Halt.
Statt den Schraubenbolzen mit einem zylindrischen Gewindeende in die Metall hülse einzuschrauben, könnte er auch nur mit einem Holzgewinde versehen und an der Spitze der 11Zetallhülse zum Beispiel durch Hartlöten befestigt sein.
