Description

Needle roller bearings without cage. In the previously known cage-less needle bearings, the needles are difficult to assemble and easily fall out when the bearing is dismantled. Although there are needle bearings in which the needles are secured by special devices against falling out when taking apart the camp and in which such devices also facilitate the assembly of the needles. But these camps have the disadvantage that additional parts and auxiliary equipment are required.

The purpose of the present invention is to create a cage-free needle roller bearing in which the needles are protected against falling out when the bearing is dismantled without additional parts. The invention consists in the fact that the race shoulders are twisted underneath in such a way that the needles are secured against falling out by them when demonizing the bearing.

In the accompanying drawings, some embodiments of the subject invention are illustrated; it shows; Fig. 1 shows a needle bearing in which the inner ring serves as a needle holder, in cross section, Fig. 2 shows the same in longitudinal section, Fig. 3 shows the holder ring with needles in view, Fig. 4 shows a needle bearing with inserted shoulder ring in longitudinal section, Fig. 5 a needle bearing in which the outer ring serves as a needle holder, in longitudinal section, FIG. 6 the needle bearing according to FIG. 5 in cross section, FIG. 7 a variant according to FIG. 5 in longitudinal section with a recess in the unfinished shoulder ring as a needle filling point.

The needle bearing according to FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of the inner ring 1 holding the needles, the outer race 2 and the needles 3. The needle holder ring 1 has under-turned shoulders 4 through which the needles 3, which are rounded at their ends, are axially Direction and secured against falling out. The needles 3 can for the most part, as shown in FIG. 3, be inserted between the shoulders 4 of the needle holder ring 1 by inclining them. The last needles could, if they are long and thin enough, to be inserted between the shoulders bent as far as the suspension allows the same without permanent deformation.

In order to make this easier, one of the shoulders could also be spared so much at one point that the shortening resulting from the elastic deflection of the needles is sufficient to press the needles between the shoulders 4. In order to be able to use needles which cannot be bent, the inner ring 1 is provided with a milled recess 5 according to FIGS. 1 and 2, which does not extend onto the outer edge of the shoulder 4. This creates an axially deflectable point of the shoulder 4 on the needle holder ring 5, which allows the insertion of the last needles 3 without inclining them. For this purpose, a point on the shoulder is advantageously saved a little.

The needle bearing according to FIGS. 5 and 6 is formed analogously to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, in which the ring 7 serves as a needle holder ring. This has a cutout 8 which does not deform the edge 4 ′ of the shoulder 4. By bending off the point 11, the needles between tween the shoulders of the needle holder ring 7 can be pressed.

4 shows a needle holder ring 12 onto which the shoulder ring 13 has only been pressed after the needles 3 have been inserted. The shoulder ring 13 can be designed as a snap ring; which is clamped in the groove 14. It can also be wrapped up warm so that it is stuck in the groove 14.

In Fig. 7 an unfinished warehouse is shown in which a point 17 is recessed from the shoulder 16, which is used to insert the last 3 needles. After all the needles have been inserted, this recess 17 is caulked or soldered so that the needles can no longer fall out.
