  Dose.



   Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Dose, z. B. aus Aluminiumblech, mit einem wasser-und luftdicht abschliessenden Deckel.



   Bei Dosen z. B. aus Aluminium kann ein luftdichter Abschluss durch Löten und dergleichen nicht erzielt werden. Alle Versuche, die gemacht worden sind, waren unbefriedigend.



   Erfindungsgemäss wird ein dichter Abschluss bei einer Dose aus irgendeinem   Aletall    dadurch erreicht, dass an einem nach innen   umgefalzten    Rand eine nach innen zu liegende Umbördelung vorgesehen ist, mit welcher ein mit Griff versehener Deckel dicht abschliessend verbunden ist.



   Der Rand des Deckels kann z. B. in die Umbördelung des Dosenunterteils eingezogen und in dieser mittels eines Dichtungsringes eingeklemmt werden, so dass eine luftdicht abgeschlossene Fuge entsteht.



   In der beiliegenden Zeichnung sind zwei Ausführungsbeispiele des   Erfindungsgegen-    standes schematisch dargestellt, und zwar zeigt :
Fig.   1    einen Schnitt durch eine Dose in geschlossenem Zustand.



   Fig. 2 ist ein Grundriss.



   Fig. 3 zeigt einen Teil einer zweiten   Aus-    führungsform der Dose.



   Die in Fig.   1    und 2 dargestellte Dose besitzt einen aus Aluminiumblech bestehenden Unterteil   1    und einen ebenfalls aus Alumi  niumblech    bestehenden Deckel   2.    Der obere Rand 3 des Unterteils   1    ist nach innen umgefalzt. Der freie Rand 3a des Falzes 3 ist zusammen mit einem Rand 4 des Deckels 2 umgebördelt, so dass eine nach dem Innern der Dose zu gerichtete   Umbordelung    5 gebildet wird. In dieser   Umbordelung    5 ist ein Dichtungsring 6 aus weichem Material, z. B. aus Gummi, vorgesehen. Der Rand 4 des Deckels 2 ist in der   Umbordelung    5 festgeklemmt und schliesst zusammen mit dem Dichtungsring 6 die Deckelfuge wasser-und luftdicht ab.

   Der Deckel 2 ist mit einem radial nach aussen geriehteten Lappen 7 versehen, mit welchem ein Ring   8    fest   verbun-    den ist. Mit Hilfe des Ringes 8 kann der Deckel 2 aus der Umbordelung   5    gezogen und damit die Dose geöffnet werden, ohne dass hiezu besondere   Werkzeuge notig wären. Auf    dem Unterteil   1    sitzt dann noch über dem Deckel   2    liegend ein zweiter Deckel 9. Dieser kann zum Abschluss der Dose 1 verwendet werden, wenn der Deckel   2    entfernt   vorden    ist, und wenn der Doseninhalt gegen Zutritt von Staub, Feuchtigkeit usw. geschützt   lover-    den soll.



   Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 3 ist    die Fuge 10 zwischen dem Deckel 2 und dem    Falz 3 des Unterteils 1 mit einer formbaren und erhärtenden Dichtungsmasse 11 ausgefüllt. Zum Beispiel   kann.wenn    die Teile   l    und 2 aus Weissblech bestehen, die Fuge 10 mit Lot gefüllt werden. Es könnten aber   anch    andere erhärtende Dichtungsmassen, z. B. Paraffin usw., benutzt werden. In gewissen   Fäl-    len könnte dann der Dichtungsring 6 wegfallen.



   Bei beiden Ausführungsformen wird erreicht, dass nach Entfernen des Deckels 2 doch ein glatter Rand 12 entsteht, über   ivel-    chen der Doseninhalt entleert und auf welchen der Deckel 9 gut   abdichtend gelegt wer-    den kann.

   According to the invention, a tight seal is achieved in a can made of any kind of aluminum by providing an inward-facing flange on an inwardly folded edge with which a lid provided with a handle is tightly connected.



   The edge of the lid can, for. B. drawn into the flange of the lower part of the box and clamped in this by means of a sealing ring, so that an airtight joint is formed.



   Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically in the accompanying drawing, namely:

   3 shows part of a second embodiment of the can.



   The box shown in Fig. 1 and 2 has a base 1 made of sheet aluminum and a cover also made of aluminum sheet 2. The upper edge 3 of the base 1 is folded inward. The free edge 3a of the fold 3 is beaded together with an edge 4 of the lid 2, so that a beading 5 directed towards the inside of the can is formed. In this edging 5 is a sealing ring 6 made of soft material, for. B. made of rubber, provided. The edge 4 of the cover 2 is clamped in the bordering 5 and, together with the sealing ring 6, closes the cover joint in a watertight and airtight manner.

   The cover 2 is provided with a tab 7 which is directed radially outward and to which a ring 8 is firmly connected. With the help of the ring 8, the lid 2 can be pulled out of the border 5 and thus the can can be opened without the need for special tools. On the lower part 1 there is still a second lid 9 lying above the lid 2. This can be used to close the can 1 when the lid 2 is removed and when the contents of the can are protected against ingress of dust, moisture, etc. the should.



   In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the joint 10 between the cover 2 and the fold 3 of the lower part 1 is filled with a moldable and hardening sealing compound 11. For example, if parts 1 and 2 are made of tinplate, joint 10 can be filled with solder. But there could also be other hardening sealants, e.g. B. paraffin, etc., can be used.    In both embodiments it is achieved that after removal of the lid 2 a smooth edge 12 is created, over which the contents of the can are emptied and on which the lid 9 can be placed with a good seal.
