Les fig 1, 2 et 3 schématisent le démou lage dans trois phases caractéristiques; la fig. 4 est une vue perspective d'une première forme d'exécution; la fig. 5 est une coupe longitudinale du moule de la fig. 4; la fig. 6 schématise la position relative, respectivement du moule, du fond amovible et de la pièce moulée lors du démoulage; la fig. 7 est une vue en plan d'un moule permettant la fabrication simultanée de douze blocs; la fig. 8 est une coupe longitudinale sui vant la ligne VIII-VIII de la fig. 7; la fig. 9 est une coupe transversale sui vant la ligne IX--IX de la fig. 7; la fig. 10 est une vue perspective partielle montrant le système de démoulage; la fig. 1l est une vue perspective du moule des fig. 7, 8, 9, :dans la position renversée, en cours -de démoulage;

Manufacturing process of molded parts and device for its implementation. The subject of the invention is a process for manufacturing molded parts by means of a mold with a movable bottom, as well as the device allowing its implementation.
This process is characterized in that, to unmold, a force is exerted on at least one tilting element bearing on the mold and which has the effect of moving the body of the mold and the movable base thereof relative to the mold. the other by keeping the bottom \ pressed against the part being unmolded.
The device comprises at least one rocking lever, the axis of rotation of which bears against the walls of the mold and of which one end bears on the movable base of the mold.

According to FIGS, 1, 2 and 3, the mold 1 com carries a removable bottom 2 resting on re lower edges 3, integral with the internal wall of the mold. Under this movable wall is disposed an oscillating lever 4 articulated around a pivot 5 bearing on the mold itself. Fig. 1 shows the mold in the molding position.
The lever 4 is completely erased and the filling of the mold, the vibration and, in general, all the molding operations are carried out in a normal manner, as in an ordinary mold. Then, it suffices to invert the mold by tilting it, as shown schematically in fig. 2. Finally, to remove the mold from the mold, it suffices to turn the lever 4 around its axis 5, so that one of its ends presses firmly against the movable floor 2.
Traction. operated on the other end of the lever 4, with the aim of rotating the latter around its pivot, has the consequence of exerting a traction from the bottom up on the mold 1 by forcing it to rise and to get rid of

The manufacture of parts using such molds is extremely simple, since it suffices to fill the mold and subject it to a vibrating action, as with an ordinary mold. Then, the mold is tilted and traction is exerted from the bottom up on the spacers 17. The mold is released almost instantaneously. Then, it suffices to remove the removable bottom 9, which remains applied to the part, for example by exerting suitable traction on the rings 22 or on any other gripping accessory provided on this mobile bottom.
From the same mold, several parts could be manufactured simultaneously by introducing walls or spacers, as shown diagrammatically in phantom in FIGS. 5 and 6.
Figs. 7 to 11 illustrate a multiple mold provided for the simultaneous manufacture of a large number of parts.
In the example chosen, the multiple mold consists, in main order, of a quadrangular envelope 24, compartmentalized by a longitudinal median wall 25 and a series of equidistant transverse walls 26. Each compartment represents a mold provided with its individual system. release. All the mold release systems are joined together and act simultaneously on the bottoms of the molds. For this purpose, each compartment has a movable bottom 27 and each bottom is secured to four uprights 28, 29, 30 and 31. All the uprights of the same longitudinal row are joined by a rod, respectively 32, 33, 34, 35.
These rods therefore pass through all the transverse walls 26, for which purpose each of these is provided with two openings 36, 37, the height of which will determine the maximum amplitude of the movement authorized by the rods 32, 33, 34, 35 and, consequently, of all the members integral with these rods.
In each compartment, the rods, respectively 32, 33 and 34, 35, are joined by a cross member 38. The rods protrude on either side of the end walls of the casing 24 and are joined to the outside. of the casing by spacers, respectively 39, 40 and 41, 42. Said end walls each have four cutouts' 43, for the passage of the rods. The compartments are still crossed by a longitudinal rod, respectively 44, 45, which lon gent the two longitudinal edges of the envelope.
These -two rods are therefore supported by. both on the end walls of the envelope and on all the transverse walls 26. In addition, these two rods form the axes of rotation of the -demolding levers. Each compartment corresponds to an angled lever 46, profiled such that one end -duly profiled is in contact with the cross member 38,
the other end being extended outside the mold. All the outer ends of the mold are joined by a longitudinal bar 47, forming an operating bar. The stability of this complex of levers is reinforced by an intermediate spar 48, the two longitudinal walls of the casing present notches 49 for the passage of the corresponding part of the angled levers 46,
so as to be able to completely erase this part of the levers and to allow the complex mold to rest freely on the lower edges of the casing and the walls of the compartmentalization. The mold is completed by operating arms 50 and curved supports 51, intended to facilitate tilting and turning of the mold.
The height of the wrapping 24 and -of the longitudinal and transverse walls, respectively 25, 26, is such that normally the movable bottoms 27 divide the compartments into two distinct parts, one of which, upper, constitutes the mold proper and the other, lower, forms the housing -of the release mechanism. We can also take advantage of: this position to make the height of the mold itself modifiable.
The implementation of such a multiple and complex mold is exactly the same as for the above-described simple mold. Indeed, the mold being in the normal position and the removable bases obstructing each compartment, the material is introduced into the mold and subjected to vibration. Then the mold is turned over and traction is operated from bottom to top on the handle bars 47.
It is obviously possible to combine complex molds, due to their weight, with the appropriate lifting and handling devices. Such a multiple mold could also be arranged to simultaneously manufacture parts of different shape and dimensions.
Not only can the method of the invention be applied to the simultaneous manufacture of a large number of parts, but this same process, with the same facilities, can be applied to the manufacture of complex parts.
By way of example, FIGS. 12 to 16 diagram show the application of the process to the manufacture of a fence post. According to fig. 13. this post consists of a pyramidal body 52, having on two opposite faces a wide groove 53, through which a number of holes 54 pass.
The mold 55 has an upper face 56, removable and extended at one end by a triangular tongue 57, which forms the fourth face of the pyramidal head of the part. The removable wall 56 has two handles 58, 59 and lined on its lower face with a longitudinal fur 60, corresponding exactly to the groove 53 of the part to be molded. The bottom 61 is also mo bile and in contact with the two molding levers 6 ?, 63, placed respectively at each end of the mold. The movable bottom 61. is lined with the same fur 64, similar to the fur 60.
On the fur 64 are fixed pegs 65, the diameter of which corresponds to the hole 54. Obviously, these pegs are slightly conical, so as to present a sufficient release .de release. The length of these pegs 65 is such that, when the removable face 56 covers the mold, its fur 60 rests on all the pegs. Therefore, the molding of the complex part 5? is as easy as that of a simple brick.
Following the previous examples, we therefore note that we can, with the same ease, unmold a large number of parts,

One could obviously modify in a practically infinite manner the profiles of the plywood or valve, as well as the mechanical means for their handling.
