Description
Siphon, insbesondere für Waschbecken und dergleichen. Die an Waschbecken und dergleichen übli chen Siphons sind so gebaut, dass sie durch ein und denselben Rohrstutzen mit dem zu gehörigen, zur Wasseraufnahme bestimmten Behälter verbunden sind, in welchem Stutzen der Ablauf und der Überlauf zusammen geführt sind. Die Bauart ist dabei so, dass die Einführungsstelle des Überlaufes im Ablauf dem Drosselkegel vorgeordnet oder nachge ordnet ist.
Der insbesondere für Waschbecken und dergleichen bestimmte Siphon gemäss der Er findung besitzt einen Siphonkörper mit zwei Zuläufen, wovon der eine zum Anschluss an den Ablauf und der andere zum Anschluss an den Überlauf des betreffenden, zur Flüs sigkeitsaufnahme bestimmten Behälters vor gesehen ist.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht in einem Schnitt ein Ausführungsbeispiel des erfin dungsgemässen Siphons, an ein Waschbecken angeschlossen.
Es bezeichnet 1 den zum Beispiel in Ke ramik ausgeführten Flüssigkeitsbehälter, der durch einen den Drosselkegel 2 enthaltenden, mehrteiligen Rohrstutzen 3 mit einem Ein- laufstutzen 4 des Siphonkörpers 5 verbunden ist. Der Siphonkörper 5 besitzt ausserdem einen Einlaufkanal 6, an welchen mittels eines Rohrstutzens 7 der Überlauf des Flüs sigkeitsbehälters 1 angeschlossen ist.
Es sind somit Ablauf und Überlauf des Waschtisches 1 getrennt mit dem Siphonkör- per 5 verbunden, der einen Ablaufstutzen 8 hat.
Der erfindungsgemäss ausgebildete Siphon eignet sich ausser für Waschbecken zum Bei spiel auch für Bidets und ähnliche Vorrich tungen.

The siphons common to wash basins and the like are built in such a way that they are connected by one and the same pipe socket to the associated container intended for water intake, in which socket the drain and overflow are brought together. The design is such that the point of introduction of the overflow is upstream or downstream of the throttle cone.
The particular siphon according to the invention for sinks and the like has a siphon body with two inlets, one of which is seen to be connected to the drain and the other to be connected to the overflow of the relevant container intended for liquid intake.
The drawing illustrates in a section an embodiment of the siphon according to the invention, connected to a sink.
1 denotes the liquid container, for example made of ceramic, which is connected to an inlet connection 4 of the siphon body 5 by a multi-part pipe socket 3 containing the throttle cone 2. The siphon body 5 also has an inlet channel 6, to which the overflow of the liq sigkeitsbehälters 1 is connected by means of a pipe socket 7.
The drain and overflow of the washbasin 1 are therefore connected separately to the siphon body 5, which has a drain connector 8.
The siphon designed according to the invention is not only suitable for wash basins, but also for bidets and similar devices, for example.
