Pour son iftiilisafi#en pratique -et habi tuelle, le dispositif de connexion,, selon l'in vention peut comprendre unegaine en matière -électriquement îsolanf#e dans laquelle sont embdités Forgane. & _ contact et l'armature, le tout formant, ainsi une fiche, deûcntact, mâle ou femelle;
Device for electrical connection by clamping a contact member to a current conductor. The object of the invention is to provide an elec: Ürique connection by sermg # e U'a contact member to a #urant conductor. It is applicable more particularly, but not exclusively, to mobile plugs and current outlets comprising fingers '(' s # respeetively -dies alveoli, of, contact.
The main object of the invention is to avoid life-long use. clamp to connect OR to connect the wires and other electric conductors to the eonibact organs, in particular to the fingers and contact cells pr & it-6s'.
It has been proven that the use of these movable plugs and sockets, with frequent handling, causes an inevitable release of the screw , < / B> tightening of the conductor wire, 4 'or bad, contact and interruption do the electrical connection.
On the other hand, it is proved that the frequency, noe clu industrial alternating current can produce to itself the said drawbacks, even, in fixed appliances.
To avoid the use of clamping screws,, in the #device which is the subject of this invention, the contact member is a with cam lever rotated for a frame in which is -en- igaee -and clamped, by the action of the lever to cam, the end of the con # cluetpjur cle, current, for example a, wire conductor,
this end being able to be released and released, from the arming by a pivoting movement -from the lever to cam.
- This electrical connection device is preferably applied to loose plugs - electrical contact and sockets, of current to cells-, where the lever to < / B> cam can be used either # as a contact finger, or as a contact oirgolane and kmelle (at aiv6ella).
The drawing annexed my * e, to -heart -exam- ples, soft shapes; The execution cies the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 in representation, in side elevation, the and partially, cut, a first form of execution; FIG, 2 is a section taken along line II-II of FIG. 1; fig. 3 shows, in side elevation and partially -in section, the second embodiment;
fig. 4 shows an application of the # co-nnexion device, according to, FIG. 1, to a movable plug or loose plug comprising two conductors, one of the shells forming the cover of the plug sheath being supposed to be removed.
In. figs. 1 and 2, an angled wire # eteur to is electrically connected by clamping to a contact finger formed by a 6 com lever carrying a round head 7 pre-child, side flat keys 8. This (lever is pivoted by its head 7 on an eccentric axis 9 supported by the lateral flanges 10 of a yoke, formed by a frame 12 in U.
The head, a lever which, by its 8, m6plais, is adjusted between the flanges of the. clevis, forms a tightening cam acting at like an eccentric; it is made in such a way that the end of the conducting wire 5, -engaged between the foind of the yoke -of Parmature 152 and the head 7, < / B> is wedged between this head and the bottom of the screed when the lever 6 is lowered and brought into the axis of the frame 12,
as represented in # full lines. in fig. 1. To ensure the tightening of the metal wire to and to prevent any slipping, the bottom of the. a'hape is provided with a groove 13, against which the wire is strongly pressed, so that the desired mechanical assembly and the electrical connection between it is obtained. conducting wire 5, on the one hand, the frame 12 and the goose. contact 6, on the other hand,
without the use of any seirrage screws.
The 5 wire can be loosened and disengaged from Parma; kra by raising the lever to cam 6 in 'la. position shown in phantom in fig. 1.
The embodiment, according to FIG. 3 differs from #lle which has just been deerit only by the fact that the to cam 6 ' lever is partly tubular and form -a cell, Ast that is to say -ah female contact organ of current socket, in which we can introduce a male contact organ, for example a finger, contact of a loose plug, like the one (6) shown, in fig. 1.
The to cam 6 and 6 levers are c * incementally locked in their clamping position. They could be blocked pa.r, cl "au.tres means, for example by assigning levie-mune clamping position, exceeding their neutral position.
For its iftiilisafi # in practice -and usual, the connection device ,, according to the invention may comprise a sheath in -electrically îsolanf # e in which the organ is embedded. & _ contact and the frame, the whole forming, thus a plug, deûcntact, male or female;
the f ig. 4 shows, to liter, for example, the inside # of a plug, male flywheel comprising two conductors and -two contact members intended to to be introduced, by its contact rods, in -Is (aJveoli of a corresponding female fkh-e # die socket # c1e; current.
In fig. 4, one distinguishes Yune 1 (14) of the shells of the sheath of electrically insulating material, the other shell, not shown, forming a cover, and being assembled with the shell 14 by a clamping screw 15. In this sheath ends, through a round opening, 16, the cord 17,
whose metallic conductor wires 5 are each connected to an electrical connection device such as that shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The 12 in. U are fitted -in respective housings -of the shell 14 and the wires 5 y are connected by tightening, using the levers to cam 6 which,
in the clamping position, se, extend out of the. sheath, passing the holes - round 18 of the latter, to form two parallel fingers of contaet-.
The levers: to cam 6 or 6 ', respectively linked or-a-nes male or female contact, are C < / B> locked in the tightening position and secured, as soon as the two shells of the sheath are rigidly connected to one to the other by the assembly screw 15.
The current socket-plug may be made similarly to that shown in figg. 4, except that instead of two connection devices, such as that shown in FIG. 1, these are -two connection devices comprising female contact members (with alveoli), like the one shown in fig. 3, which will be fitted into the sheath.
This sheath, in electrically insulating material, die same as the reinforcement, male or not, can -differ, as to to their shape and to -lieur construction, of the example described opposite id-u, accompanying drawing.
As far as the cam lever is concerned, it could be formed paired with a cam or other equivalent locking member, such as, for example, an eccentric .
