Description
Method for applying a shingle underlay for tile roofing to the rafters and shingle underlay applied by the method. The. Attaching the shingles to the roof battens for the purpose of producing a shingle underlay for a tile roof is a time-consuming job, which must be carried out on the roof when the weather is dry.
If you are surprised by the rain during the shingle roofing, you should not begin with the tile roofing until the shingle underlay is dry again.
The present invention relates to a method for applying a Schin delunterlage, according to which the work to be carried out on the roof is reduced to a Bmuehteil the time previously necessary who can.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the shingles are attached to roofing sheets in the workshop and transportable panels are produced in this way, which are laid and attached to the rafters, after which the joints between the panels are covered by attaching individual shingles.
The invention also relates to a shingle base applied by the method.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of a plate is shown as a part of the shingle underlay to be produced.
The plate consists of the roof battens 1 with the usual batten spacing of 20 cm and the shingles 2, which are attached to the roof battens in the usual way. The shingles have the normal length of 45 cm, so they extend over three roof battens, that is, over two roof battens spacing, so that the shingle position is doubled everywhere.
The panels are expediently finished in sizes of 10 to 20 m2 in the workshop and delivered to the building site. They are supplied in a divisible size of the roof to be covered, but can also be easily broken down into smaller pieces on the construction site as required.
For the purpose of producing the shingle base on the roof, these panels are laid directly on the rafters and struck, the battens of the panels resting against the rafters. The joints formed between the panels are then covered by attaching individual shingles.
In this way, every part of the shingle underlay of a roof is hit in a fraction of the time previously required, and the tile covering can also be started at the same time as the plates are hit.
