Description
Apparatus for cleaning floors. The subject matter of the present invention is an apparatus for cleaning floors which has inevitably driven chip holders which are rotatably mounted on at least one rotating, motor-driven carrier. According to the invention, it is characterized by the fact that the direction of rotation of each age of steel chips is opposite to the direction of rotation of its wearer.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically, namely shows (in different scales): FIG. 1 an apparatus in plan, FIG. 2 a side view of part of the same with partial section and FIG. 3 shows a floor plan for FIG. 2.
Two motor-driven shafts 2 are rotatably mounted in the apparatus housing 1 . A carrier 3 is firmly connected to each shaft 2, on which each two gear wheels 4 and 5 are freely rotatable. The wheels 4 are on the one hand in engagement with a stationary gear wheel 6 and on the other hand with the wheels 5 on the axis 7 of each gear wheel 5 there is a steel chip holder 8 to which the steel chips 9 are attached.
When the drive motor (not shown) rotates, the shafts 2, which are inevitably coupled by means of the toothed wheels 10 , and thus the carriers 3 , move in the opposite direction of the arrow, i-gen I (Fig. 1) driven. Here, -a gears 4 of each carrier 3 roll on the wheel 6 and thereby rotate the gears 5 the holders 8. As Fig. 3 shows, the rotary line II, which is given to the holders 8 , is opposite to the direction of the arrow I. .
Practical tests have shown that in this way a better effect of the steel chips is achieved than with previously known apparatus. As FIG. 1 shows, in the apparatus shown, the paths of the holders 8 that do not belong to the same carrier overlap
