Description
Als Stabilisatoren kom men Silikatlösungen, Metallsalze, organische Substanzen usw. in Betracht.
Process for consolidating and sealing structures and subsoil. Methods are already known for sealing fine-pored subsoil by injecting clay and chemicals; however, these methods do not bring about any substantial consolidation of the treated material, and their use is associated with great costs. Good consolidation can only be achieved through cement injections.
However, since the cement contains relatively large particles, it is still only possible to consolidate coarse-pored materials with it, such as gravel or rock fissures, while the technically important consolidation of fine-pored material such as porous concrete and sand has not been possible until today . The purpose of the present method is to close this gap and, with the solidification achieved, ensures a perfect seal for the substances treated with it.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that a mixture of cement and water is injected into the materials to be treated, in which at least 50% of all cement particles are below 10, u and in which the cement has no constituents coarser than 30, u contains.
A stabilizer is expediently added to the cement-water mixture.
To consolidate dams and foundations, drill holes are sunk in di- ;, from 1-3 m, depending on the condition of the material, and a mixture of this fine cement with water is used in increasing concentrations from 1: 5 to, depending on the absorption capacity 1: 1 cement to ZVasser. The injection pressure used can be 1 to 100 atm.
Borehole distances of 0.5 to 2 m are used to consolidate and seal the building ground; the concentration of the injection liquid is as indicated above and the pressure is 1-3 atm.
The stabilizer is expediently added in an amount of 0.1-2% of the cement weight, depending on the type of the different cements or the material to be treated. Silicate solutions, metal salts, organic substances, etc. can be used as stabilizers.
With this method, porous concrete and masonry constructions of all kinds, solid rock, loose rock (sandy and gravelly building ground) can be consolidated and sealed in an economical way.
