Description

Elektroakustischer Wandler.

Electroacoustic converter. It is already known to use a plurality of vibrating membranes with different natural frequencies or eixi system of several loudspeakers to improve the reproduction of loudspeakers. To improve the sound reproduction of mechanical gramophones and when discussing microphones and telephones, Helmholtz resonance spaces are used.

In particular with mechanical gramophones, in which the lowest notes are often cut off on the records, there is a need for better emphasis of the low notes, the improvement of the resonance curve, the fight against needle noises, etc.

The same need exists for the discussion of microphones, especially when they are connected directly to loudspeakers, the reproduction of which in stations and similar uses is almost incomprehensible due to the distortion.

The present invention now achieves this purpose. very simple way because by that in the holder of the vibrating membrane at the same time a correction membrane is attached, which is separated from the Schwingmem bran by a spacer ring, the distance, material and natural frequency of the correction membrane are chosen so that the latter adjusts the Prequeiz curve the converter to its intended purpose improved. The spacing ring determines the distance between the two membranes, the lowest limit of which is only given by the amplitude of the two vibrating membranes.

If, for example, the low tones are to be raised during gramophone playback, then a correction membrane with a low natural oscillation g is expediently selected; they will therefore be made of thin metal or even paper. Conversely, if the distortion of a too close and loud meeting is to be weakened with a microphone, the correction membrane with a higher natural oscillation will be selected. So you can influence the resonance curve of the transducer in any desired direction.
