Rotary piston machine for conveying liquid or gaseous media with device for automatically limiting the pressure to a certain maximum value at constant speed. The present invention relates to a rotary piston machine for conveying liquid or gaseous media with a device for automatically limiting the pressure to a certain maximum value at constant speed, at which an inner, through a circular hollow cylinder in the cavity of an outer housing provided with suction and pressure ports formed housing is guided ver sehiebbar in a direction perpendicular to its axis, which inner housing encloses the rotary piston and contains the working space of the rotary piston machine,
and which is held in such a position with respect to the rotary piston by spring action that when the rotary piston rotates, the medium to be conveyed is sucked out of the cavity of the outer housing through an opening in the hollow cylinder forming the inner housing and leveled) Opening in which the hollow cylinder forming the inner housing is pressed into the pressure port of the outer housing, whereby when an adjustable maximum pressure is exceeded the wooden cylinder forming the inner housing is displaced against the action of the spring acting on it in relation to the torque piston becomes,
that a pressure equalization takes place between the pressure side and the suction side of the working space. The maximum pressure of the medium to be conveyed in the pressure port is determined by the spring force of the spring acting on the sliding, inner housing. By changing this spring force, what z. B. can be effected by changing the preload of the spring, the maximum pressure can seich set to a certain, desired value.
As soon as this maximum pressure is exceeded, the inner housing containing the working space is moved against the action of the spring, creating a connection between the pressure-side and the suction-side part of the working space, which results in an immediate lowering of the pressure.
In the drawing, for example, embodiment of the subject invention is shown. 1 and 2 each show a section perpendicular to the axis through a rotary piston machine for conveying liquid or gaseous media with a device for automatically limiting the pressure to a certain Ala.ximalwert at constant speed in two different working conditions and F 'ig. 3 shows a section along line --A in FIG.
The rotary piston machine has an outer housing which is divided in the central plane perpendicular to the axis, the two parts 1 and 1 'of which are held together by four screws 2. In this housing 1.1 'a circular cylindrical cavity 3 is provided in which a rotor is rotatably mounted, which consists of a circular disc 5 of the same diameter as the cavity 3 seated on a pin 4 mounted on one in part 1 of the housing and a seated on this Seheibe 5, to this concentric, but smaller diameter having Hohlzylin the 6 consists.
The disk 5 rests against the wall of the cavity 3 formed by the part 1 of the housing and the free end of the hollow cylinder 6 against the wall of the cavity 3 formed by the part 1 'of the housing. The housing 1, 1 'has a suction port 7 and a pressure port B. In the cavity 3 is a neres housing perpendicular to its Achsrich device displaceable, which consists of a hollow cylinder 6 surrounding the hollow cylinder 6 and the same length as this having, circular hollow cylinder 9, the is provided with a breakthrough 10 and on which the outside two are standing perpendicular to its axis, parallel guide rods 11 and 12 sit. The guide rod 11 is axially pierced and in the pressure port 8 leads ge.
The guide rod 12 is guided in a guide in the housing 1, 1 'and protrudes into the interior of a projection 13 provided on the housing 1, 1' with an internal thread, which penetrates the bottom of a cylinder 14 screwed into the internal thread of the extension 13. At the free end of this guide rod 12 there is a piston 15 with a sealing collar 16 which is guided displaceably in the cylinder 14 and on which a compression spring 17 inserted in the cylinder 14 acts.
The hollow cylinder 6 has two diametrically opposed, axially extending slots 18 extending over its entire length, in which an elastically flexible slide 19 is slidably guided, the length of which is at least the inner diameter and the width of which is the length of the hollow cylinder 9 corresponds.
In the idle state, the compression spring 17 pushes the piston 15 in the cylinder 14 outward so that the hollow cylinder 9 seated on the guide rod 12 is brought into a position in which it touches the hollow cylinder 6 on the side opposite the guide rod 12 (Fig. 1). A sickle-shaped profiled working space is formed between tween the hollow cylinders 6 and 9, which is divided by the flexible elasbic slide over 19 into a suction-side and a pressure-side part. The breakthrough 10 of the hollow cylinder 9 is in the suction-side part and the confluence of the axial through-hole of the guide rod 11 in the pressure-side part of the working space, as close as practically possible to the surface line on which the hollow cylinder 6 is tangent to the hollow cylinder 9.
If the rotor is now driven via its pin 4, the medium to be conveyed is through the intake port 7 into the cavity 3 in the housing 1, 1 'and from this @dureh the opening 10 of the Hohlzylin ders 9 in the suction-side part of the Ar beitsTaumes sucked in and conveyed away from the pressure-side part of the working space through the drilled guide rod 11 and the pressure port 8. The rotary piston machine is self-priming.
If the pressure of the medium to be conveyed in the pressure port 8 rises above the desired maximum value determined by the force of the compression spring 17, the hollow cylinder 9 is displaced against the action of the pressure spring 17 acting on the piston 15, with the hollow cylinder 9 lifts off from the hollow cylinder 6, so that instead of the previous, sealing tangent, there is now a gap (s) connecting the pressure-side part of the working chamber with its suction-side part
exists between the hollow cylinders 6 and 9 (Fix. 2). This results in an: Immediate drop in pressure: of the medium in the pressure-side part. As soon as the pressure of the medium has fallen below the set, permissible maximum pressure, the hollow cylinder 9 is shifted back into the position shown in FIG. 1 under the action of the compression spring 17 acting on the piston 15, so that the rotary piston engine is working to the full again.
By further screwing the cylinder 14 into the internal thread of the extension 13, the bias of the compression spring 17 can be reduced, so its spring force can be reduced, while the tension and thus the spring force of the compression spring 17 is increased by unscrewing the cylinder 14 from the extension 13. By sealing the cylinder 14 in the internal thread rle s extension 13, it is therefore possible to avoid the maximum permissible pressure and to set it to a certain value.
The rotor or rotary piston of the rotary piston benmachine could also be designed in a known manner other than as shown, whereby B. instead of a single, resiliently flexible slide could have several slides.
