Description

  Kosmetisches Erzeugnis.

Vorteil kombinie i-,, lassen, wodurch man zu Sonnenschutz- mitteln gelangt, die gleichzeitig insekten abwehrende Eigenschaften a@fweisen.

Als Sonnenschutzsubstanzen eignen sich z. B. masculin.

Konservierungsmittel 0, 5

  Cosmetic product.

It is known. To process ultraviolet rays absorbing substances into cosmetic products and. to use as a sunscreen for human skin. These are the so-called sun protection @remen and sun protection ¯le.

On the other hand, it is also known that certain chemical compounds have an insect-repelling effect, although they are inherently odorless.

It has now been found that these two body classes are associated with. Combine the advantages, which leads to sunscreens that also have insect-repellent properties.

As sun protection substances are z. B. masculin. Umbelliferonderiva. te, quinine salts. Anthranil and salicylic acid derivatives.

Benzimidazoles, benzalacetone and benzalazine derivatives. Ta. Nnin. etc.

For the purposes of the invention in question, insect repellent substances are DicarbonsÏurediester in particular of the aromatic series, z. B. the dicarboxylic acids of benzene, toluene, naphthol, with cattle phthalic diesters such as phtha. dimethyl ester, have been shown to be most effective. Diesters of aliphatic carboxylic acids, such as tartaric acid, citric acid, adipic acid, succinic acid, etc., can also be used. The ¯thylhexanediols, such as 2-ethylhexanediol- (1. 3), are also suitable. 2-phenyl-cyclohexanol, 2-cyclohexyl-cyclohexanol, etc.

The substances that adsorb and repel insects can be used as solutions in organic. Solvents or aqueous emulsions, ointments, oils, powders and pens can be processed.

For example, they can be incorporated into an ointment base made from animal, vegetable or mineral fats and oils or waxes or else a fat-free cream.

Dispersing or emulsifying auxiliaries as well as perfuming agents and preservatives can also be used. They can also be incorporated into powder bases and, if appropriate, processed with suitable carriers to give compact, rub-off blocks.

Example of an ointment (water-in-oil emulsion)
A water-resistant ointment is obtained by mixing the following components and homogenizing them in a wolloid mill: Adeps Lanae 20 parts by weight of menthyl salicylate 8; Phthalic acid dimethyl ester 10 paraffin ¯l 11, 5 @ water 50 perfume and d preservative 0.5
Example of a milky emulsion:

A milky emulsion is obtained by emulsifying glyceryl monostearate 5 parts by weight of menthyl anthranilate 3 @ @ adipic acid diethyl ester 10 @ @ water 81, 5 perfume m and
Preservatives 0, 5
