Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines acyl- aminogruppenhaltigen Trisazofarbstoffes, da- durch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Farbstoff der Formel

mit acetylierend wirkenden Mitteln behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff ist eine schwarze Sub stanz, die pflanzliche Fasern in blaugrauen Tönen färbt.
Als acetylierend wirkende Mittel können zum Beispiel Acetylchlorid oder Essigsäure- anhy drid verwendet werden.
