In ein Doppelbett umwandelbare Couch. Die @-orliegende Erfindung betrifft eine in ein Doppelbett umwandelbare Couch, die zwei um lotrechte Achsen schwenkbare Seiten teile aufweist. Bei einer solchen Bauart hat die Couch im wesentlichen die gleiche Länge wie das Bett, während es vielfach erwünscht ist, die Länge der Couch geringer zu halten. Dies wird gemäss der Erfindung dadurch er möglieht, dass die Seitenteile bei der Um wandlung des Doppelbettes in die Couch mehr oder weniger zusammengeschoben werden kön nen und die Länge der Couch damit geringer gehalten werden kann als jene des Bettes.
In der beiliegenden Zeichnung sind zwei Ausführungsbeispiele des Erfindungsgegen standes schaubildlich dargestellt. Es zeigt: Fig. 1 das Möbel als Couch, während bei Fig. 2 eine Hälfte zum Bett ausgeschwenkt ist.
Fig.3 zeigt das Doppelbett ohne 1Iatrat- zen.

Das Gestell gemäss Fig. 1 bis 3 besitzt einen Unterteil 1., der als Behälter zur Aufnahme des Bettzeuges ausgebildet. sein kann, und eine Rückwand 2. Auf zwei in der Mitte nahe der vordern Kante des Unterteils befestigten Zapfen 3 (Fig. 3) ist je ein Seitenteil 4 bzw. 5 schwenkbar gelagert.
Jeder Seitenteil be steht aus einer Wand 6, einem Bodenbrett 7 und einem auf letzterem verschiebbaren Rah- tuen B. Ein am Rahmen 8 befestigter, in einen Schlitz 12 des Brettes 7 ragender Stift 13 begrenzt die Ausziehbarkeit der Seitenteile. Wenn die Seitenteile eingeschwenkt sind (Fig. 1), so bilden die zur Rückwand 2 senk recht stehenden Wände 6 die Seitenwände der Couch. Auf die Polster 9 sind lose Sitz polster 10 und Rückenpolster 11 gelegt.
Es ist leicht ersichtlich, dass - wenn die Seiten teile 4 und 5 nicht ausziehbar sind, die Pol ster 9, 10 quadratische Grundflächen haben müssen, so dass die Länge der Couch gleich des Bettes sein muss. Gemäss der Erfindung ist jedoch die Länge der Couch kleiner als die Länge des Bettes. Bei der gezeichneten Umwandlung in ein Doppelbett werden die verlängerten Seitenteile noch zusätzlich mit den Polstern 11 belegt (Fig. 2), die beim Ge brauch als Couch als Rückenlehne dienen. Dies hat den weiteren Vorteil, dass die Tiefe der Sitzfläche verringert wird und man beim Sitzen an den Polstern anlehnen kann.
Das in den Fig. a bis 6 gezeigte Ausfüh rungsbeispiel betrifft eine Eckcouch, bei der an einem ortsfesten Eckteil 15 beiderseits Seitenteile 16 und 17 anschliessen, die ähnlich wie im vorbesehriebenen Beispiel, um in der Nähe der einspringenden Ecke angeordnete Zapfen 18 schwenkbar sind und je eine Sei tenwand 19 bzw. 20 aufweisen. Eine solche Couch kann in verschiedener Weise in ein Liegemöbel umgewandelt werden, so dass auf die örtlichen Raumverhältnisse weitgehend Rüeksieht genommen werden kann.
Wenn das Seitenteil 16 mit der Seitenwand 20 um 90 verschwenkt wird und beide Seitenteile überdies ausgezogen werden, entsteht ein Doppelbett (Fig. 5), dessen Liegefläche durch entsprechendes Umlegen der verschiedenen Polster 21 und Mitverwenden der Rückenpol ster 22 gebildet wird.
Statt dessen kann man, wenn nur ein ein faches Bett gebraucht wird, einen Seitenteil ohne geschwenkt zu werden, ausgezogen ver wenden. Bei Verwendung als Kinderbett ist das Ausziehen des betreffenden Seitenteils nicht notwendig. die Seitenteile in Längsrichtung ausziehbar sind und die Länge der Couch geringer ist als jene des Bettes.
UNTERANSPRÜCHE: 1. Couch nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die durch den Längen unterschied zwischen Bett und Couch sich er gebende, vergrösserte Liegefläche des Bettes mit mindestens einem Polster belegt ist, das beim Gebrauch als Couch als Rückenpolster dient.
2. Couch nach Patentanspruch, als Eck- möbel ausgebildet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwei schwenkbare und ausziehbare Seiten teile in ihrer Stellung als Sitzmöbel im rech ten Winkel zueinander verlaufen und einen ortsfesten Eckteil zwischen sich einschliessen.
