Balance with adjusting screws for watches and other timepieces. The subject of the invention is a balance with adjusting screws for watches and other timepieces, the adjusting screws of which, provided with a head, are each arranged and adjustable in a radial hole in the annular rim of the balance.
This balance is characterized, according to the invention, in that the rim has a circular recess over its entire circumference, in which the heads of all the adjusting screws are located, such that these screw heads are invisible to the eye. less from one side of the balance. This circular recess is preferably formed by a groove formed in the median plane of the rim and the cross section of which is rectangular.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, several embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 - represents, plan view, an embodiment.
Fig. 2 is a section taken along line II-II of fi-. 1.
lees fi-. 3, 4 and. 5 show. partially, in section, three variants.
The balance shown in Figs. 1 and 2 comprises a circular rim 6 and a diametral arm î pierced with a hole 8 for the axis of the balance.
lia serge 6 has a circular groove 9 on its periphery, the cross section of which is dirty. rectangular (fig. 2). The serge carries adjusting screws 10, of which. each is screwed into a tapped hole and has a head. These screws are arranged radially and distributed regularly around the periphery of the rim, so that all the heads of the adjusting screws 10 are located and concealed inside the groove 9 and, therefore, invisible from either side. face of the balance. Adjustment adjustments can be made by radially moving the screws 10 in the respective holes of the rim, without the heads of the screws being visible.
According to an alternative embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the circular groove 9 of the rim 6 has a semi-circular cross section, while the heads of the screws are hemispherical in shape.
Figs. 4 and 5 show two other va riantes whose rim 6 has a narrow circular rim 6 'around its entire periphery which, in FIG. 4, is connected to the body of the serge, on one side, by a rounded part and, in fig. 5, at a sharp angle. The heads of all adjusting screws 10 are disposed in the recess below this rim, when the balance is mounted on the movement, so that all the screw heads are. invisible when the movement is seen from its bridge side.
All the adjusting screws according to fig. 1, 2 and 3, are arranged in the median plane of the balance; they are arranged in an extra-median plane according to FIGS. and 5, which allows the balance to be fitted with large-format adjusting screws, that is to say. large, relatively heavy heads.
