<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 252533. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller Küpenfarbstoff hergestellt werden kann, wenn man 1-Amino-4-benzoylaminoanthrachi- non mit dem Säurechlorid der in 4-Stellung durch eine Sulfodiäthylamidgruppe substi tuierten Benzol-l-carbonsäure umsetzt.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet rote Kristalle, löst sich in konz. Schwefelsäure mit roter Farbe und färbt. Baumwolle aus blauvioletter Küpe in echten rotorangen Tönen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> In 1800 Teile Nitrobenzol werden unter Rühren 158 Teile p-[N-diäthyl]-sulfamidben- zoesäure, 206 Teile 1-Amino-4-benzoylamino- anthrachinon und 100 Teile Thionylchlorid eingetragen. Nun wird in einer Stunde auf 87 bis 900 erwärmt und 8 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur weitergerührt. Man lässt über Nacht erkalten, nutscht ab und wäscht mit etwa<B>1300</B> Teilen Nitrobenzol nach.
Das Nutsehgut wird zur Entfernung des anhaften den Nitrobenzols der Wasserdampfdestillation unterworfen, hierauf abgenutscht und im Trockenschrank getrocknet.

The new dye forms red crystals, dissolves in conc. Sulfuric acid with red color and stains. Cotton from a blue-violet vat in real red-orange tones.
<I> Example: </I> 158 parts of p- [N-diethyl] -sulfamidbenzoic acid, 206 parts of 1-amino-4-benzoylamino-anthraquinone and 100 parts of thionyl chloride are introduced into 1800 parts of nitrobenzene with stirring. It is then heated to 87 to 900 in one hour and stirred for a further 8 hours at this temperature. It is allowed to cool overnight, suction filtered and washed with about 1300 parts of nitrobenzene.
To remove the adhering nitrobenzene, the Nutsehgut is subjected to steam distillation, then suction filtered and dried in a drying cabinet.
