Description

Zusammenlegbare Leiter.

Fig. 2 und 4 zeigen eine zusammenlegbare Doppelleiter.

Collapsible ladder. In all building trades, and especially in carpentry, ladders are used, the usual constructions of which, namely length dimensions, cause great difficulties during transport and storage. The ladders are usually transported to work by smaller contractors on carts; this is very time-consuming and costly, especially in large cities. Public transport may not be used to move ladders precisely because of their length.

Various proposals have been made to construct a ladder that could be collapsed to the smallest possible dimensions. However, all known proposals in this regard have been complicated and cumbersome, namely to be folded and / or used, so that they have not proven to be practical.

The present invention aims to eliminate these disadvantages and to enable a quick collapse or erection of the ladder. The collapsible ladder according to the invention is easier to transport in the collapsed state than a non-collapsible ladder. With the appropriate training, it can be taken on public transport, which is of great importance for painters, varnishers, decorators, electrical engineers, plumbers, plumbers, upholsterers and other building craftsmen, especially in large cities, where it is often necessary for the craftsman Reaches work quickly for repairs.

The drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.

Figs. 2 and 4 show a collapsible double ladder.

The rungs (Fig. 3) are formed by webs P of brackets, the legs r each Weil in their middle a and at the ends b, c are articulated and scissor-like by means of tabs S, whereby inseparable conductor cheeks Z and Z 'arise .

Each leg of the double ladder is at its lower end on the tabs S with lugs N, which form legs for the ladder legs. At the lowest tabs S and the bracket connected to the middle of the same is each a locking device U, be standing from an extension with holes and corresponding plug-in pins arranged to hold the ladder legs in the set position. This locking device allows different lengths of the conductor legs, which can be the same (Fig. 1 and 2) or different (Fig. 4).

Depending on the circumstances, only one Feststellvor direction could be provided for a ladder on each leg.

If the ladder is to be put together in the position according to FIG. 5, the locking devices U are released, whereby all links can be placed on top of each other by rotating around the points a, until both the bracket P, -r and the tabs s as shown lying on top of each other. In order to make the dimensions of the collapsed ladder as small as possible, the brackets P, r of one ladder leg are kept wider (see cheeks Z, Fig. 2) than the bracket P, r of the other ladder leg (see cheeks Z ', Fig. 2),

so that when the ladder is closed, the narrower ladder leg can enter the wider ladder leg.

The ladder can also on uneven ground, z. B. on a staircase, who used the, as shown in FIG. Here, the locking devices of one ladder leg are set in such a way that this ladder leg is shorter than the other, whereby the difference in height between the supports of the two ladder legs can be compensated for.

The ladder legs are articulated at their upper ends by means of removable bolts B (Fig. 1, 2). If this connec tion is released, each ladder leg can be used as an independent, collapsible, simple ladder section. The two legs can be fully stretched while maintaining their connection so that they are in mutual extension (Fig. 6), creating a simple ladder of double length. In this position, the two ladder legs are rigidly connected by struts.
