Description

Fig. 3 zeigt ein Doppelmagnetsystem eines Impulsgebers.

Electromagnetic pulse generator for axle counting. While in the versions of the track devices based on mechanical effects as pulse generators, the control by the vehicle axles is carried out by means of movable switching elements such as leaf springs, contact rails or the like, in the magnetic pulse generator the change in the magnetic force flow is caused by the change in conductance of a magnetic rule Circle, used to control a circuit connected to the counter.

In this way, the mass accelerations of switching elements, which are unpleasant especially at high vehicle speeds and which are associated with heavy material wear, are practically completely avoided. The influence of the pulse generator is inertia. On the other hand, the pulse generator is required to work independently of the speed, that is, not at a minimum speed; such as B. the known inductive systems is bound.

For reliable operation, it is important that the originally relatively small change in the force flow is converted into a relatively large one. B. increases from a negative to a positive value.

For this purpose, an electromagnetic pulse generator for axle counting is proposed according to the invention, in which magnetic circuits are influenced by the axes rolling past and which is characterized in that a secondary force flow is coupled with a main flow of force in such a way that the axis rolling by caused a change of raft in the main circle causes a change of direction of the river in the secondary circle.

In the accompanying drawing, the subject of the invention is exemplified and illustrated in a schematic representation.

Fig. 1 shows a pulse generator and the course of the force lines in its basic position. Fig. 2 shows the pulse generator and the course of the force lines when passing a wreath track.

Fig. 3 shows a double magnet system of a pulse generator.

Fig. 4 is a representation of the Arbeitsbe area of the double magnet system according to Fig. 3, and Fig. 5 shows the working characteristics of the pulse generator and the overlapping of the working areas.

At a certain distance from the Fahrsehiene S there is an electric magnet, formed from two pole cores KI, with their excitation winding W ,,. The core yoke is provided with a small air gap dl.

Due to the power flow b'1, caused by the magnetic circulating voltage, magnetic voltage drops occur, namely essentially a larger R ″ between the outer surfaces of the two pole shoes and a smaller one in the air gap dt, parallel to the magnetic resistance of the air gap dy , is a magnetic circuit with its cores and yokes K "and an air gap thin as a magnetic shunt. The cores Kn have an auxiliary excitation winding Wk which is in series with the main excitation winding Wh.

If the magnetic circulating voltage generated by the auxiliary excitation winding Wk is greater than the magnetic voltage drop of the main flux F, in the air gap dh and counteracting this, a second flux F = across the air gap dh and the magnetic circuit K "7-d" generated. In the air gap d ″ there is a polarized armature ap. According to the sign of the magnetic induction present in the air gap dn, the armature, as shown in FIG. 1, is drawn towards the right pole and closes the idle cone in accordance with the basic position of the system cycle kr.

2 shows how the magnetic conductance of the main circle Kh, -dh is increased by driving past a wheel R. This results in a corresponding increase in the main force flow F, to a new value F '. Accordingly, the magnetic voltage drop in the magnetic resistance ie increases. The magnetic tension of the winding Wk is now no longer able to cope with the tension pressure of the main circuit; the original flux F, with the appropriate dimensioning of the windings, becomes the inverse value F '; accept. The polarized armature ap is moved to the other side and the contact kn is closed.

The processes described are practically independent of the speed at which the pull axles run past. The contact device ap, ka and k ,. has very small dimensions and therefore works almost without inertia. On the other hand, the changes in the magnetic flux and thus the tensile forces in the working air gap dn are so significant that there is a sufficient surplus of power for all practically occurring fluctuations.

Naturally, in practical operation, depending on the rail and wheel wear and the widening of the track, the wheels do not run at an even distance D, but at a more or less different distance past the pole pieces, so that in practice with different values of Ra is to be expected. The change in the power flow of the system behaves accordingly. In borderline cases, however, this is still so great that the safety of the contact movement is guaranteed.

The device described requires permanent excitation because it must be permanently operational. The required excitation power is relatively low.

As a rule, all lines are under closed-circuit current and can be continuously monitored in accordance with the usual safety rules. The track and switch sections to be monitored are generally used in both directions; It must therefore be ensured that in one case an axis counting takes place, in the other case an axis counting takes place. Naturally, both effects, which are different in themselves, cannot be triggered by a single magnet system, as shown in FIG. 1, but rather two independent devices are required for this purpose. These can be arranged on the same rail or on different rails.

In order to ensure a perfect effect, a certain overlap of the work areas should be aimed for. This overlap results from the locking circuit that works together with the pulse generator, which causes a count in one direction of travel and a count in the opposite direction of travel. If the two devices for counting in or out are arranged on different rails, the above-mentioned overlap can easily be achieved by shifting accordingly in one direction or the other.

The situation is different, however, when the pulse generators are on the same rail, which is a lack of space, for. B. with double crossings and track connections, sometimes it is impossible to avoid. In such cases, the above-mentioned work overlap is guaranteed to ensure the construction of the pulse generator with two immediately adjacent Sy systems Ge and G ,, to be carried out, as FIG. 3 illustrates.

In this design, the central core is common to both systems. Otherwise, the two contact systems work in the same way as with separate Ge devices, but the excitation power is slightly lower because of the one common core. The production and installation costs are not insignificantly reduced.

The operations can be easily seen at the edge of the diagram in FIG. The working range of the device Ge extends from point 1 to point 2, i.e. one axis moves in the direction 1-1 ', the contact of Ge opens at point 1 and closes again at point 2, that of the device Ga from point 2' to point 1 '. The working areas can be equated (11, = 2.c ') if the devices Ge and Ga are next to each other on the same rail, since the flange has the same distance D from both magnet systems. If this distance becomes larger, see the overlap ü, if it becomes smaller, it increases because the action points 1-2 or

Move 1 \ -2 'together or apart. This can be seen from FIG. 5, in which the working curves, that is, for each system. the tensile force Z of the relay armature are shown as a function of the path covered by the axis. While the tensile force 7 has a certain positive value in the basic position, it runs roughly according to the curves shown and reaches the negative value shown in the middle of the system before the middle of the system, and then returns to its normal value in the basic position when the axis continues. The course in the negative area essentially depends on the stand of the flange from the poles of the pulse generator. As FIG. 5 shows, the working areas of the two systems I and II overlap, the more the smaller the distance D of the flange is.

The overlapping areas are denoted by 1'1 for a small distance Dl and by, Ü., For a larger distance D.

The situation is different when the Ge and Ga systems are mounted on different rails. A reduction in the wheel flange distance in one device corresponds to a corresponding increase in the other. While the working ranges w and w 'change in the opposite sense, the overlap ü remains practically constant. Under certain circumstances, this can be seen as a certain advantage, but on the other hand, the aim should be that points 1--2 'and 1'-2 are as far apart as possible, in order to ensure sufficient switching times of the blocking relays in the blocking circuit at higher driving speeds.
