Description

Component and process for its manufacture. The invention relates to a component consisting of at least two panels arranged at a distance, preferably parallel to one another and connected to one another by transverse webs, as well as to a method for producing such a component.

Construction boards made of natural or sawn timber are known and are widely used. They are essentially carried out in such a way that boards are attached to a frame by nailing or, more rarely, by gluing or screwing. In such a frame construction, the load-bearing element is predominantly the frame, since the boards only have the task of shuttering. In the case of blackboards, the boards can be used if they are installed in a perpendicular position. are used to a certain extent for power transmission, the task of the frame being to firmly connect the two formworks to one another.

All of these constructions have in common that a shear-resistant connection between the frame and the two formwork is achieved only to a limited extent, so that when under stress on bending, z. B. as a ceiling panel, it is not possible to use the curtain for power transmission. In such a case, the formwork can only perform a function that fills the frame, and there are also constructions in which the formwork also fulfills a supporting function, not previously known.

Another disadvantage of such known constructions is that natural wood, due to its bar-like or board-like character, larger length dimensions are only given in one direction, namely the main direction of growth, is not well suited for filling larger, closed areas. and that such fillings made of natural wood, e.g. B. tongue and groove boards, do not see in. are shear resistant.

The invention now circumvents this due to the Hauptwachstumsriehtung or main direction of strength of the natural wood restrictions of the construction possibilities in the aforementioned compo elements by the fact that both the panels and the crossbars at least partially made of a vegetable matter, z.

   B. from aqueous, with binders, preferably synthetic resins, staggered fiber suspensions or from wood chips and / or fibers and possibly binders produced plate-shaped material with fibers running in different directions and that the panels and webs, if necessary with additional gluing , are connected to one another by pegs, the pegs being worked out on the webs and engaging in corresponding recesses in the panels.

It is advantageous to use materials normally present in plate or sheet form, the fibers of which run in different directions, the plane of the plate and which enable the construction element according to the invention to be implemented even on a large scale, because they can be factory-made and can easily be obtained from the outset both in length and in width in large, each desired dimensions, and their other properties such.

   B. machinability, strength, in particular edge strength, elasticity, moisture and weather resistance, specific weight and the like, correspond to or similar to those of natural wood, if not even exceed them. It should be pointed out briefly that, with regard to the desired properties of the component, the type, amount and method of incorporation, high-quality binders, e.g. B. of art resins, this can also play a role, such.

   B. mechanical, chemical or thermal treatment of the fibrous materials, the use or production of the fibers own adhesives, gluing and binding agents, the implementation of the felting and compression process, the degree of union of fibers. and gluing materials, the process of fiber production and much more. In general it can be said that these building materials or

Plates, chalkboards, etc. should have a wood-like character rather than a cardboard-like or felt-like character.

In the accompanying drawing, a construction element according to the invention in an example-wise embodiment is schematically illustrated. The same consists of two in the Ab was arranged parallel to each other Plat th or panels 1 made of material vorerwähn ter type, which are firmly connected to each other by transverse webs 2 made of the same material. For this purpose, 2 pins 3 are worked out on the transverse webs and corresponding recesses 4 are provided in the plates 1, in which the pins 3, possibly with additional gluing, engage and which, for. B. can also be punched out in a simple manner.

In the drawing, for the sake of simplicity, only one transverse web 2 and the whole is shown before the assembly. The number of transverse webs 2 and cells 3 together with the corresponding recesses -i is, however, as well as their arrangement relative to one another, unlimited and to be selected according to the respective requirements. For the sake of clarity, reference is made in the following statements to the axes of the drawn coordinate system.

A FITS expedient component (composite board) has at least one parallel in the longitudinal direction of the Z-axis and at least one in its longitudinal direction parallel to the Y-axis cross web.

With this construction, the force is transmitted both to the plates and to the webs via the highly stressable surfaces perpendicular to the plate planes, and the relevant shear surfaces of the tenons lie in planes perpendicular to the web levels, but parallel to the longitudinal direction of the webs , i.e. in a YZ plane for the bar drawn. When using bars made of synthetic wood or

These surfaces are also subject to high stresses on fibreboard, but not when using natural wood, since the shear strength of natural wood parallel to the longitudinal direction (main waist direction) is low. Natural wooden walkways are therefore ruled out. The construction works. so that the strength peculiarities that synthetic wood panels have compared to those made of natural wood are good.

It is. known that, for example, in the case of the doweled beams that are customary in construction, the composite effect is sometimes significantly impaired by inaccuracies in the manufacturing process when fitting the dowels.

In order to eliminate such a deficiency from the outset, the design is made in such a way that the pegs are held stronger in at least one dimension than corresponds to the corresponding dimensions of the panel openings, with the pegs and the recesses of the panels expediently being on all sides , e.g. B. have run-up achieved by chamfering the edges.

So there are worked out on the webs tenons in length and; or thickness, the pin of the web shown so in the direction of the Z- and Y-axis by a little larger or stronger ge than the receiving Aussparun conditions in the plates and for introduction into the plates with an all-round, for example, by chamfering their edges, achieved th run-up, for which they are kept longer than the plate thickness from the start around the run-up. The illustrated pins 3 are thus longer a1.5 in the X-axis direction, the plate thickness.

But it can also - as already indicated above - the edges of the Plattenaussparun conditions on the side facing the pin be beveled, in which case there is no need to increase the pin width.

The component described is manufactured in such a way that the panels and webs, if necessary with additional glueing g, are assembled in pressing tools and then removed any protruding free pin ends of the webs, for. B. be sanded.

Such a joining is done in a press between plane parallel press plates, such that in the case of a widening of the tenons over the plate thickness in connection with the beveling of the tenons between the press plate and the building board, inserts are inserted, which the tenons Corresponding recesses in which the runs of the pin occur.

Through such a pressing process caused by the larger dimensions of the pin, pin and recesses experience local deformations and compression, which results in a high and firm frictional connection. Experience has shown that the frictional connection is so high that there is no need for glueing between the tenon and the panel recess. To avoid pulling out, gluing can be made.

In any case, the connection in the entire structural element is so good that the structural element can be stressed immediately after the pressing process has ended, before a glue joint has been set. After removing the component from the press, the protruding journal approaches can be ground off in all cases where a smooth and even surface is desired.

The shape of the component described can also be other than rectangular, plane-parallel. So the component z. B. have the shape of trapezoids, rectangular triangles, isosceles triangles, pentagons with two adjacent right angles and similar shapes, as they also occur in house construction. It can see so in particular when building prefabricated houses using the component described significant advantages and Ver simplifications achieve and natural wood -anz or almost entirely off.

If the component is formed from more than two panels arranged plane-parallel to one another, it is generally expedient to either mount the webs located between the second and third plate offset against the webs located between the first and second plate or to attach the pegs of these To arrange webs offset from one another.

Finally, it should be mentioned that in given cases, in place of or in addition to materials of the aforementioned type, Sperrholg is also used to build the component. can. The aforementioned features - Na. Natural wood character in connection with fibers running in different directions of the board plane - are namely more or less peculiar to plywood, so that this too results in a correspondingly dimensionally stable, bending-resistant and shear-resistant structural element when used.
