Description
Fig. 3 à ; 7 représentent en coupe trois autres formes d'exécution.
Airtight packaging for food products.
The present invention relates to the constitution of sachets or packaging in general containing a product in laying, granule, paste or liquid intended to be dissolved in a hot liquid, which is in particular the case of certain food products, concentrated or not. , presented in one or the other of these forms for the rapid preparation of broths, infusions or other hot drinks (coffee, milk, chocolate, gravy, etc.).
The sealed packaging, according to the invention, ensures its contents a perfect and indefinite conservation by preventing it from deteriorating, from fanning, from agglomeration or from oozing under the action of the humidity of the water. 'atmosphere; this packaging is characterized in that it is formed, at least partially, of a metal alloy fusible at low temperature, below 1000 C, so that the opening of said packaging is carried out automatically, without requiring any manual operation, by immersion in the liquid in which its contents must be dissolved and only when the temperature of this liquid has reached that at which said alloy melts.
The accompanying schematic drawing shows, by way of example, various embodiments of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of a first embodiment.
Fig. 2 is a sectional view along 2-2 of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 to; 7 show in section three other embodiments.
According to fig. 1 and 2 the bag consists of two sheets 1 and 2 between which is inserted the product 3 and which are joined together on their peripheral edge 4 in a leaktight manner by embossing, welding, gluing, folding, stamping, crimping or the like.
One of these sheets is made of a low temperature fusible alloy, such as Vood's or Darcet's alloy, the other being made of any suitable material, such as tin paper or a thin sheet of at. luminium.
These sheets 1 and 2 can also both be constituted by a low-temperature fusible metal or else both be made of tin or aluminum; in the latter case, only their connection 4 is, in whole or in part, made of fusible metal.
This packaging can also be produced as iii show in figs. 3 to 5, in the form of a small box, a case in which one of its walls 6, forming a cover, may be in. metal fuse at low temperature (fig. 3) or be fixed by a solder ring 7 fuse at low temperature (fig. 4) or simply have one or more perforations closed by means of a supply 8 of low-temperature fuse temperature (fig. 5).
It can therefore be understood that this packaging, produced in sealed form, which can be obtained by numerous means, only requires for its use to be immersed in the liquid in which its contents must dissolve and that its opening is produced automatically as soon as the temperature of said liquid reaches that of melting of said alloy (60 to 1000 C for example). At that moment, indeed, but only at this moment however, this chet will dissociate or disassemble to deliver its contents to the dissolving action of the liquid.
Meltable parts with a density greater than that of the liquid come together and remain as granules at the bottom of the teapot, coffee maker or other container. To eliminate them, it is enough to filter the decoction before consuming it. The parts of the packaging which are of non-fusible metal can also be easily removed from the liquid.
It should also be noted that the packaging is not in permanent contact with the liquid, but is only immersed there when it is desired to make the decoction which is, on the other hand, absorbed in the following minutes. The time is therefore too short for there to be oxidation.
