<B>Boîte</B> à<B>musique.</B> La présente invention a pour objet une boîte à musique comprenant un bâti muni d'une manivelle actionnant un tambour porte-goupilles et d'un disque rotatif présen tant des images, caractérisée par le fait que le disque est entraîné au moyen d'iin dis positif à friction monté sur un axe actionné par ladite manivelle.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de la boîte objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en plan, et la fig. 2 est une vue latérale agrandie du dispositif à friction.
La boîte à musique représentée comprend un bâti 1 possédant. deux entretoises 2 et 3, et sur lequel est monté rotativement un tam bour porte-goupilles 4 pourvu d'une roue den tée 5 en prise avec une vis sans fin que porte un axe 6; ce dernier est actionné au moyen d'une manivelle 7 par l'intermédiaire d'une transmission non représentée.
Sur l'entretoise 2, par l'intermédiaire d'une vis 18, est monté rotativement un disque 8 sur lequel sont reproduites des images, ce disque 8 et le tambour 4 étant des tinés à être actionnés simultanément par la manivelle 7; à cet effet, l'axe 6 porte un dis positif à friction 9 pour l'entraînement du disque 8.
Ce dispositif 9 comprend deux plaques élastiques circulaires 10 et 11 fixées sur l'axe 6; ces plaques 10 et 11, en acier, sont sépa rées l'une de l'autre par une plaque intermé- diaire circulaire 12 dont l'épaisseur est lé gèrement plus petite que celle du disque 8; le diamètre -de la plaque 12 est-moins grand que celui des plaques 10 et 11, .de faon à ménager entre celle-ci lune gorge circulaire 13 dans laquelle est engagé et pressé le bord du disque 8.
Les plaques 10, 11, 12 et urne rondelle 16 prennent appui sur une embase 14 de l'axe 6, l'extrémité 15 de celui-ci étant rivée afin de les assembler.
La boîte à musique représentée fonctionne comme suit: La manivelle 7 est déplacée cir culairement pour actionner, par l'intermé- diaire de l'axe 6 et de la -vris sans fin, le tam bour porte-goupilles 4 qui agit sur le clavier 17, simultanément le dispositif 9 entraîne le disque 8 qui est partiellement masqué par une plaque non représentée et dont les images sont destinées à venir successivement en regard d'une ouverture pratiquée dans cette plaque.
Il est prévu dans une variante d'exé cution de fixer- le .dispositif d'entraînement sur l'arbre portant la manivelle 7.
<B> Music box </B>. </B> The present invention relates to a music box comprising a frame provided with a crank actuating a pin holder drum and a rotating disc presenting images, characterized in that the disc is driven by means of a positive friction device mounted on an axis actuated by said crank.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the box which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged side view of the friction device.
The music box shown comprises a frame 1 having. two spacers 2 and 3, and on which is rotatably mounted a pin holder drum 4 provided with a toothed wheel 5 engaged with a worm that carries an axis 6; the latter is actuated by means of a crank 7 via a transmission, not shown.
On the spacer 2, by means of a screw 18, is rotatably mounted a disc 8 on which images are reproduced, this disc 8 and the drum 4 being tines to be actuated simultaneously by the crank 7; for this purpose, the axis 6 carries a positive friction device 9 for driving the disc 8.
This device 9 comprises two circular elastic plates 10 and 11 fixed on the axis 6; these plates 10 and 11, made of steel, are separated from one another by a circular intermediate plate 12, the thickness of which is slightly smaller than that of the disc 8; the diameter of the plate 12 is smaller than that of the plates 10 and 11, so as to be arranged between the latter a circular groove 13 in which the edge of the disc 8 is engaged and pressed.
The plates 10, 11, 12 and washer 16 are supported on a base 14 of the axis 6, the end 15 of the latter being riveted in order to assemble them.
The music box shown works as follows: The crank 7 is moved in a circular fashion to actuate, via the axis 6 and the endless screw, the pin holder 4 drum which acts on the keyboard 17, simultaneously the device 9 drives the disc 8 which is partially masked by a plate, not shown, and the images of which are intended to come successively opposite an opening made in this plate.
In an alternative embodiment, it is provided to fix the drive device on the shaft carrying the crank 7.
