Description

       

      Sterilisierapparat    mittels Dampf.         Gegenstand    vorliegender Erfindung ist ein  Apparat zum Sterilisieren von     Operations-          wäselie,        ehirurgisehen    Instrumenten und     der-          gleiehen    mittels Dampf. Er ist dadurch ge  kennzeichnet, dass der den Sterilisationsraum  begrenzende Mantel von einem an ein Heiss  wassernetz     anschliessbaren    Heizkanal teilweise  umgeben ist.  



  In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungs  beispiel des     Erfindungsgegenstandes    darge  stellt. Die Figur zeigt einen Längsschnitt       dureli    einen     Sterilisierapparat.     



  Der Sterilisationsraum wird von einem  horizontal angeordneten Stahlzylinder 1 be  grenzt., der auf der linken Seite durch einen       Deekel        \?    mit     Zentralverschluss    abgeschlossen  werden kann. Der Stahlzylinder trägt auf der       Aussenseite    eine     Heisswasser-Heizschlange    3       finit    den     Heisswasserein-    und     -austrittsstutzen          -1    und 5. Die Heizschlange wird von einem  Rohr mit kreisbogenförmigem Querschnitt,  das     sebraubenlinienförmig    auf dem Zylinder  mantel angeordnet ist, und dem Mantel ge  bildet.

   Durch die Heizschlange wird der Steri  lisationsraum vorgewärmt. Für die Sterilisa  tion selbst wird Dampf verwendet. Der  Dampfeintritt in den Zylinder erfolgt     dureli     die Düse 6 und der Dampf- und     Kondensa-          tioiiswasserablass    am Ende der Sterilisation  durch den Stutzen 7. Das Rohrstück 8 dient.  zur     Be-    und Entlüftung der Sterilisations  kammer. Diese ist. noch mit einem Isolier  mantel 9 umgeben, und der Zwischenraum ist       finit    einem wirksamen Isoliermittel gefüllt.

      Der dargestellte und beschriebene     Sterili-          sierapparat    bietet besonders in jenen Sterilisa  tionsanlagen einen Vorteil, wo zur Heizung       sämtlieher    Wärmeapparate nur Heisswasser  zur Verfügung steht und zur Bereitstellung  von Dampf besondere Dampferzeuger erfor  derlich sind.     Zufolge    der     Heisswasserbehei-          zung    der verschiedenen Apparatemäntel kann  die Grösse des Dampferzeugers beträchtlich  reduziert werden.

   Da bei solchen Anlagen die  Apparate auch ständig im     Heisswasserstroin-          kreis    eingeschaltet sind, sind sie jederzeit  betriebsbereit und in wärmetechnischer Hin  sicht bei guter Isolierung der Heizschlangen  äusserst wirtschaftlich.



      Steam sterilizer. The subject of the present invention is an apparatus for sterilizing surgical supplies, surgical instruments and the like by means of steam.       The sterilization apparatus shown and described offers an advantage particularly in those sterilization systems where only hot water is available to heat all heating apparatus and special steam generators are required to provide steam. As a result of the hot water heating of the various apparatus jackets, the size of the steam generator can be reduced considerably.

   Since the devices in such systems are constantly switched on in the hot water flow circuit, they are ready for operation at any time and, in terms of thermal technology, extremely economical with good insulation of the heating coils.

PATENT CLAIM: Apparatus for sterilizing surgical linen, surgical instruments and the like by means of steam, characterized in that the jacket delimiting the sterilization area is partially surrounded by a heating channel that can be connected to a hot water network. SUBClaim: Apparatus according to patent claim, characterized in that the heating channel is formed by a tube with a circular arc-shaped cross section, which encloses the jacket of the sterilization space in helical turns, and the jacket.
