Device for drying the head hair. The present invention is a device for drying the head hair, in which a pipe socket is attached to the mouth pipe of an adjustable electrically heated hot air generator, at the free end of which an arc-shaped hollow body is rotatably mounted, in which the air supplied by the hot air generator is introduced and which is intended to reach over the head without touching the hair and to rotate constantly while drying, which hollow body has air outlet openings on its concave side.
The air outlet openings are advantageously arranged on the arcuate hollow body in such a way that the reaction forces occurring when air flows out set this arcuate hollow body in rotation. A motor, preferably an electric motor or a water motor, could also be provided to drive this hollow body.
This device allows the scalp hair to dry quickly and comfortably, with excessive heating of the scalp, which can easily cause headaches and migraines in sensitive people, as it avoids the arched hollow body from which the air flows in rays the drying of the hair is constantly rotating, so that the more or less warm air only has a very short time in one place. Since the air does not emerge as a compact jet from a pipe, but from many openings, an effective distribution of the same is achieved and excessive disheveled hair is avoided.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention and a variant is Darge provides. 1 shows a side view of a device for drying the head hair, FIG. 2 shows a side view of the head part of this device on a larger scale, partly in section, FIG. 3 shows a side view of an embodiment variant of the head part of this device, partly in Section, and FIG. 4 is a plan view of this.
On an adjustable stand 1 in a manner not shown regulatable elec trically heated warm air generator 2 is mounted, at the mouth pipe by means of a sleeve 3, a pipe socket 4 is connected. On the free end of this pipe socket 4, a bearing 5 is rotatable. This bearing 5 is arranged in the middle on the convex side of a bogenför shaped hollow body 6, which has an opening 7 within the bearing 5 through which the air emerging from the pipe socket 4 can enter it. The arcuate hollow body 6 engages over the head with the hair to be dried in such a way that it can rotate without touching it.
On its concave side, the arcuate hollow body 6 has air outlet openings 8, which are directed obliquely inwards, on one side of its axis of rotation to the one side and on the other side of its axis of rotation to the other side, such that the Outflow of air from these air outlet openings 8 occurring reaction forces set the arcuate Hohlkör by 6 in rotation. The hair is dried quickly and comfortably by the air exiting from the air outlet openings 8 of the arcuate hollow body 6 circling around the head and, as required, more or less strongly heated.
From the described embodiment of the device for drying the hair on the head, the variant embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 differs in that the arcuate hollow body 6 'has, instead of a bearing 5, a socket 5' which is inserted into the pipe socket connected to the ZVarmlufterzeuger 4 'engages and is mounted in a ball bearing 9 therein.
A bracket 10 is arranged on the pipe socket -1 ', within which the arcuate hollow body 6' can rotate. The ends of this bracket 10 are bent inwardly and carry a ring 11 lying within the ends of the arc-shaped hollow body 6 '. This ring 11 is intended to be placed over the head with the hair to be dried and to prevent that a movement of the head the hair with the arcuate hollow body 6 'come into touch tion.
The stand 1 is for clamping, e.g. B. on a table top, set up. However, it could also be provided with a foot.
