Description

Plug pin for electrical plugs. The subject of the present invention is a plug pin for electrical plugs, which consists of a U-shaped bent sheet metal strip, at least one tip directed from one leg towards the other is intended to be the insulating sleeve of a to penetrate in the longitudinal direction of the legs between the same inserted supply cable up to its bare wire.

The inventive design of such a Steekerstiftes is characterized in that at the free end of one leg symmetrically to the longitudinal symmetry plane two flaps are arranged which, in cooperation with two transverse surfaces at the free end of the other leg, lateral displacements of the two legs and lateral evasive movements between them Prevent the feed cable from being introduced at both ends of the legs.

A preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing, namely: Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the not yet bent sheet metal strip, Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section and Fig. 4 is a front view of the fer term connector pin.

A sheet metal strip 1 forming a semicircular groove in cross section is somewhat widened at both ends. Two at right angles protruding tips 3 are intended to penetrate the insulating sheath of an inserted supply cable down to its bare wire and thereby simultaneously serve as a current collector and prevent the inserted wire from shifting lengthways.

Two flaps arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal plane of symmetry 11-r1 .5 are intended to work together with two transverse surfaces 4 at the other end, as can be seen from FIGS. They prevent lateral movements of the two legs against each other and at the same time encompass the supply cable 6 inserted between the free ends (dash-dotted line), so that this too cannot move sideways, which is particularly important when inserting the tips 3. The bending point 2 forms the tip of the finished connector, the z. B. can be inserted into a bore of an insulating housing part so that the leg ends can no longer move away from each other.

The required sheet metal strips can easily be produced in the form shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 by pressing in one operation from Mes singblech.
