Description

Manufacturing process by molding of hollow building elements. The present invention a. for object a method of manufacturing by molding of hollow building elements, which is characterized in that, in order to form hollow bodies intended to be juxtaposed, there is placed inside a mold serving to manufacture shaped bodies prismatic square base, at least one core extending over the entire height of the body to be formed, and in that the molding is carried out in the remaining part of the mold to thus obtain a laterally truncated body, that is to say say differing from said square-based body produced by means of the same mold in that the thickness of its wall is reduced on at least one of its sides, by which it is intended to be juxtaposed with another truncated body for form a hollow building element.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, several forms of implementation of the process according to the present invention.

Fig. 1 relates to two first examples.

Fig. 2 shows the assembly of two hollow bodies obtained according to one of these forms of covering.

Fig. 3 shows the assembly of four hollow bodies obtained according to the other form of covering.

Fig. 4 shows the assembly of three hollow bodies, one of which is obtained according to a third form of covering.

The present invention aims to provide a simple means of obtaining hollow bodies intended to be juxtaposed in any number. This avoids having to use a mold for single bodies, a mold for double bodies and another mold for triple bodies, etc. The same mold makes it possible to manufacture all the bodies intended to be juxtaposed to together form the equivalent of a double, triple, etc. body. There is shown at 1, in FIG. 1, an example of a hollow body of the normal type, that is to say having the shape of a square in plan.

To manufacture bodies intended to be juxtaposed to form the equivalent of a double body, we proceed as follows: We lay down inside the mold, before placing the mortar in this mold, a core occupying the place of the lateral part of the normal body 1, shown in hatching to the right of the dotted line 2. This core extends over the entire height of the mold and it is applied against one of the side walls of the latter. This done, the molding of the remaining part of the mold is carried out and a body such as 3 and 3 'is thus obtained, truncated laterally on one side, that is to say differing from a body with a square base by the fact that the thickness of its wall is reduced on one of its sides 4, 4 ', by which it will be juxtaposed against a similar body.

The set of bodies 3 and 3 'constitutes the equivalent of a double body and we immediately see that its production takes place with the greatest ease by the method described by means of the same mold as that allows both to achieve the square-based body 1. It is also possible to place inside the mold not only a core intended to remove part 5 of the square-based body, but also another core intended to remove this part 5 and part 5 '. to reduce the wall thickness of the body obtained on two adjacent sides. There is shown in FIG. 3 the assembly of four bodies 6, 7, 8 and 9 of identical shape, obtained by thus laterally truncating the body with a square base on two adjacent sides.

The assembly according to fig. 3 constitutes the equivalent of a qua druple body.

Finally, by -disposant two cores inside the mold against two opposite faces of this .dernier, one can obtain a molded body having the shape indicated at 10 to. fig. 4. that is, the wall thickness of which is reduced on two opposite sides. The assembly of a body 3, a body 10 and a body 3 '(3 and 3' having the same shape as that shown in Fig. 2) provides the equivalent of a triple body.

It is possible, if desired, to make the various bodies juxtaposed according to fig. 2, 3 -and 4 soli daries after juxtaposition by pouring mortar in the adjacent hollow parts such as 11 and 12.

The assembly obtained by juxtaposition of bodies according to FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 is less bulky and lighter than if square-based bodies had been placed side by side, while providing the same services.
