Ce gousset est ouvert. sur sa face postérieure 6 et présente une fente 2 sur cette face arrière et au fond du gousset; il com porte une languette recourbée 3 qui permet d'accrocher le porte-cravate sur le col d'un vêtement., d'une chemise par exemple, les extrémités latérales supérieures du gousset. se logeant sous les pointes du col.
La face anté rieure 5 du gousset est décorée. La cravate, ou le morceau d'étoffe 4 devant. former celle- ci, est passée dans le gousset et. y est retenue par la. sorte de pince formée par la. fente 2 au fond du gousset.
Ce porte-erav ate permet d'utiliser des era- vates réduites à leurs parties visibles ou tout morceau d'étoffe pouvant former une cravate.
Pour décorer le gousset 1, on peut. le gar nir d'un tissu, ce tissu pouvant. être le même que celui de la cravate à y fixer.
Il convient. de faire remarquer que le porte-cravate décrit présente les avantages de permettre d'utiliser des cravates sans les frois ser et d'utiliser des cravates plus courtes.
