Znsatznatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 278942. Verfahren zur Umwandlung eines Azofarhatotfes. CTegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Umwandlung eines Azo- farbstoffes, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man den durch saure Kupplung von 1 11o1 5-Niti-o-2-diazolienzol.-1-earbonsätire mit 1 1-1o1 1- Aniino-7-oxynaphthalin-4-sulfonsäui@e erhältlielien Azofarbstoff mit verdünnter Salz säure kocht.
Beispiel: 43,2 Teile des aus 5-Nitro-2-diazobenzol-l - carbonsäure durch saure Kupplung auf 1- :@mino-7-oxvnaphthalin-4-sulfonsäure erhält- liclien Farbstoffes werden in 3000 Teilen Was ser mit 8 Teilen Natriumliydroxyd gelöst. Zur Lösung- fügt man 1.50 Teile konzentrierte Salz siiure und Beizt auf ungefähr 95 . Nach etwa 1 Stunde ist der Farbstoff in Lösung gegan gen und der Austausch vollzogen. Man salzt heiss aus und filtriert den neuen Farbstoff.
Cletrocknet stellt er ein dunkelbraunes Pulver dar, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit kirsehroter Farbe löst.
