Description

Window construction for side-hung, turning and top-hung windows. There are window designs for rotating, reversible and top-hung windows known in which stops are usually attached partly to the sash and partly to the frame to limit the closed position of the sash and open the sash in the desired direction of movement ztt. The present invention relates to a window construction for turning, turning and top-hung windows, in which the closed position is secured without such stops and the sash can still be opened in both directions.

The invention is characterized in that a weather groove is provided with an extension behind it for receiving rainwater and behind this groove at least one of these frames is provided in order to achieve an equal to the sash in the closed position the seal between the sash frame and the stop frame has at least one protruding sealing strip made of elastic material, which cooperates with a correspondingly shaped part of the other frame in such a way that the strip is elastically pressed against this part when the sash is closed, sealing and unintentional movements of the sash hem mend and to open the sash only this inhibiting force is overcome.

To fix the sash in one or more opening positions. Since the sash frame only works together with the hinge frame through a sealing strip made of elastic material, the aforementioned omission of rigid stops to limit the closed position of the sash can also be used without significant noise generation With. To strike violence, e.g. B. as a result of a gust of wind or the like. Also is. by providing the wet terrille with suitable training a rejection of driving rain and wind from the actual sealing point achievable, in particular special when the weather groove is arranged at a sufficient distance from the sealing point of the elastic sealing strip and for a drainage channel for the approximately penetrating Rainwater is taken care of.

The window construction according to the invention can advantageously be used for double-glazed windows, possibly double-glazed windows with a blind built between the two panes, e.g. B. Slat blinds. With the subject matter of the invention, good accessibility for window cleaning can be guaranteed, since the sash can be pivoted inwards and outwards as desired, and possibly can even be pivoted around completely.

As a result of the simple rotatability, correspondingly simple swivel joints for pivoting the sash can also be provided, wherein the swivel joint itself can be provided with an inhibition or locking device in order to make the window firmly in any open position, e.g. B. in the form of clamping screws or the like. The drawing shows some execution examples of the subject invention.

Fig.l, 2 and 3 each show a Ausfüh approximate shape in cross section.

FIG. 4 also shows, in cross section, a particular embodiment of the elastic sealing strip.

According to Fig. 1, the sash frame 1 and the stop frame 2 are profiled the same at least in the parts facing each other, in particular the sash frame 1 has medium-sized approaches 3, which are the same middle to sets 4 of the stop frame 2 opposite, which is located on the sash frame 1 Union approaches 3 are used to accommodate an elastic sealing strip's 5, which goes through the entire length of the frame and protrudes so far over the approaches 3 that they work together with the correspondingly shaped part of the approaches 4 sealing and tightly fitting. The sealing strip 5 consists of any elastic material, for. B.

Rubber, and is in the closed position of the wing shown in Fig. 1 Darge self-locking with appropriate pressure on the approaches 4, such that it is necessary to rotate the wing about a not shown, middle axis of rotation in the sense of arrows 6 and 7 requires a certain pivoting force to be exerted on the wing in order to overcome the self-locking force. The facing parts of the Rah menprofile 1 and 2 also have at a certain distance from the sealing strip 5 on both sides projecting legs 8 and 9.

The legs 8 and 9, which are directly opposite each other in the closed position, are brought so close to one another in the closed position that only the distance required for opening and closing the sash is maintained. This results in the lowest allowable point of the leg 8 "in that it must not protrude beyond the cylinder surface 10, which is concentric to the wing axis of rotation and goes through the outermost point of the lugs 4 of the wing frame.

Analogously, the maximum permissible length of the leg 9 of the stop frame results from the fact that its outermost point must not penetrate into the cylinder jacket 17, which is also concentric to the wing axis of rotation and through the outermost point of the diehtiuigsträger 5 in the fully relieved state of the latter is led. If the legs 8 and 9 of the wing frame or the stop frame are profiled exactly the same, the distance between the outermost points of the opposing legs 8 and 9 can of course also be greater than the distance between the cylinder jacket surfaces 10 and 11 from one another.

The cylinder jacket surfaces 10 and 11 therefore only give the dimension for the minimum required union distance which is permissible between the one opposite legs 8 and 9 in the closed window position. The actual space between these legs is referred to below as the so-called weather groove. Namely, it is an intermediate space through which driving rain and wind can possibly enter on the outside of the window.

In order to absorb such incoming water and reject it from the adjacent sealing point of the sealing bar 5, an extension 12 is provided for the time being both in the wing frame and in the stop frame, which is used to take on the penetrating rainwater. wherein a channel 13 is passed through the leg 9 on the outside of the Stopprah mens 2, which is used to divert any rainwater that may penetrate. Also is. the sash frame 7. on the outside with an outwardly projecting protective strip 14, which is designed and arranged so that it is at a sufficient distance from the weather groove 15 to break the force of the wind and driving rain and thereby the weather groove to shield. The outermost point of the protective strip 14 must not exceed the cylinder jacket 10.

In order to increase the elasticity of the sealing strip 5, this strip is designed as a hollow rubber strip with a cavity 16. As is readily apparent from Fig.l, the only by the Flügelrah men 1. illustrated sash can be pivoted around the Kx-eiszvlindermänteln 10 and 11 corresponding axis of rotation in any direction, so that an opening of the window sash both after the inside as is also possible to the outside, with only the self-locking force between the sealing bar 5 and the approaches 4 has to be overcome.

Conversely, the sash can be closed from any open position by simply pivoting the sash into the closed position with sufficient force to move the protruding part of the sealing strip 5 over the corresponding stop 4 while compressing the you processing strip away, whereupon the sealing strip automatically sets itself symmetrically to the two approaches 4 in the closed position and pauses here, self-locking against any gusts of wind or the like, as these are not sufficient to overcome the self-locking force.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, a double-glazed window is provided with a sash, the frame of which is designated by 17. is. Accordingly, the main sash frame 1.8 is designed correspondingly narrower. than in the embodiment of Figure 1. It has lugs 19 for receiving the hollow profile sealing strip 20, which men work together with lugs 21 and 22 of the opposite frame 23 or insert frame 24.

Further jumps. also the one sash frame 17 with. an extension strip 25 so far in front of it that it rests tightly against the hollow rubber strip 20, which creates a special device between the sash frame 18 and insert wing space 17, B. is firmly screwed is avoided. The same applies between the frame 23 and the insert frame 24 connected therewith, since in the closed position of the window sash the sealing strip 20 rests against the extension 22 and thereby brings about the required seal. The mode of operation is the same as in the embodiment of FIG. 1. The wet terrille is denoted by 26. .

In the embodiment of Fig. 3, the sash frame 1 is provided with two with a stand side by side Dichtungslei most 27 made of solid rubber, which are embedded in ge closed position of the window sash in notches 28 of the stop frame and thereby the required seal and self-locking of the wing against the Ensure stop frame. The weather grooves are designated 29.

In the embodiment of FIG. a sealing strip is provided, which consists of a resilient metal strip 30 which is clamped between see approaches 31 and 32 of the sash. Such a sealing strip can, for. B. can be used in place of the bar 5 in the embodiment of FIG. 1 if the approaches 3 zen 31 and 32 are designed according to the approaches.
