Description

Room closure & with flexible closure & organ. The present invention relates to a room closure with a flexible closing organ.

It has shown that the known roller shutters, which are either laterally guided or can be rolled up on a support shaft and which have cross bars movably strung together in their direction of displacement, for horizontal movable room closures larger fleas, z. B. for closets, partitions in Zim mern and the like or for closings in which it is particularly important to dust-tight closure, are not suitable, as the individual bars when moving ent neither to be inclined or try to evade each other laterally, which jams of the roller shutter in its guides.

The large number of joints in such closure organs, which are particularly open at points of curvature, make it practically impossible to produce a dust-tight room closure. Their complicated structure (many individual elements, joints, etc.) also makes the production and maintenance of such organs more expensive.

For -rössere, especially horizontally be wegliebe room closures are often used sliding doors, which, however, have the disadvantage of still blocking half the available opening in the open position.

In order to eliminate these disadvantages, at least one plate-shaped, jointless wall, which can be displaced along opposite parallel guides and made of a material that can be bent with a radius of curvature of less than 10 cm, is provided as the closing element in the inventive B aum- closure .

The wall made of a metal or plastic film z. B. made of cellulose acetate. The wall can also be transparent or translucent, colorless, colored, matt. or be shiny. It can also have a coating e.g. B. have fabric. As can be easily seen, the inven tion to the invention enables the creation of a dust-tight, large-area room closure; by simply cutting the plate-shaped, z.

   B. a single-story wall, it can be adapted to the most varied of requirements in terms of height and length and can be used both as a room partition wall and as a closet or, when using transparent plastics of particularly poor N as window thermal conductivity also abehluss can be used.

In the accompanying drawing, the subject of the invention is shown in more detail, for example; It shows: FIG. 1 a view of a cupboard with a partially removed wall part, FIG. 2 a floor plan for FIG. 1 with the walls removed, FIG. 3, on a larger scale, a section along the line III-111 in FIG. 2, FIG 4- a variant of the floor plan according to FIG. 2 on a smaller scale, FIG. 5 a room corner with a closing element in the floor plan,

6 shows the floor plan of a room with a movable partition, FIG. 7 shows the closing edges of two wall parts in cross section, FIG. 8 shows the end edges of the wall parts according to FIG. 7 in cross section, and FIG. 9 shows a schematic vertical section through a window closure.

In Figures 1 to 3, a lockable cabinet by means of two flexible wall panels 1, 2 is provided as an example of a room closure. This has a floor 3 and a ceiling 4, which are firmly connected by two frames 5 miteinan. As can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 3, the ceiling 4 is connected to the frame 5 by means of 'j "-shaped and the base 3 by means of kreuzför shaped metal flanges 6 and 7, respectively.

The underside of the ceiling 4 and the upper side of the bottom 3 are provided in their edge areas with a loop-shaped (Fig. 2) ver running guide groove 8 and 8 ', with the top and bottom groove parallel to each other and on a broad side of the cabinet kes (in Fig. 2 on the right) lead to the outer edge of the ceiling 4 or the floor 3, that is, are not self-contained. Little least the ceiling groove 8 is set off to the outside, which is enough through the cover plate 9, which is slotted along the groove 8. However, finished metal or plastic grooves can also be attached or embedded. The length of each groove is greater than the sum of the lengths of the two walls 1, 2. The two flexible ones, e.g.

   B. made of plastic film existing walls 1 and 2, which can be pushed into the grooves 8, 8 'at the end 10, are dimensioned in terms of their length such that they stood with their closing edges 11, 12 ( 7) abut one another, their end edges 13, 14 reaching over one another as shown in FIG. As can be easily seen, the closed position of the walls 1, 2 is consequently not only determined by the closing edges 11, 12 but also by the mutually engaged hook parts 13, 14.

The walls 1, 2 can also be corrugated perpendicular to the direction of travel for the purpose of stiffening. The edge parts 11, 12, 13 and 14 expediently form a piece with the corresponding walls; however, they can also be formed from separately produced, attached strips. As FIG. 7 shows, the closing edge 11 of the wall 1 is rich in a sinkhole 15 which serves as a handle for moving the wall 1. The same sinkhole can also be provided on the wall 2. It is understood that there are handles attached to the walls 1, 2 in the usual way.

In order to facilitate the movement of the relatively large surface conditions, flexible walls, they are suspended at their upper boundary edge by means of sliding bodies 16 in the groove 8 of the ceiling 4. This sliding body 16 are expediently made of the same material as the walls 1, 2 and are formed in the case of the drawn game (Fig. 3) as hemispheres, which are fixed at regular intervals on the edge of the walls 1, 2, for. B. are glued. But it could also be any other designed sliding body such. B. roles or the like, instead of the body 16 can be seen easily.

If, for example, the cabinet should be able to be opened from both sides, it is advisable to choose the arrangement of the parallel grooves according to FIG. In this example, each of the two walls is guided in a pair of mutually independent grooves 1.7 and 18, each of which has an outlet end 10 on a broad side of the cabinet. The interacting closing and end edges of the two walls not shown are formed the same in this example and each provided with a handle.

Fig. 5 shows in plan the conclusion of a room corner 19. On the room floor, a groove 20 is provided, the parallel to a not ge drawn groove z. B. runs ver on the ceiling and forms an approximately rectangular loop. For this purpose, grooved boards with threaded supports can be pressed against the floor and ceiling. The flexible, plate-shaped and jointless wall 21 is shown in its closed position in FIG. In this situation, a z. B. created as a closet, closed on all sides senes compartment. To open or when not in use this compartment, the wall 21 z.

   B. moved by means of the handle 22 of the kind in the dashed part of the groove 20 that it runs completely along the wall 19 and thus no longer takes up any significant space. The side of the wall that is visible in this open position can, for example, be adapted to the color of the uncovered room wall.

Another example of a room closure with a flexible closing wall is shown in plan in FIG. 6. The wall 23, which is guided displaceably in grooves as described in connection with FIG. 5, divides the room in its closed position into two completely separate parts. By means of the handle 24, the wall 23 can be opened, that is, pushed behind a cover wall 26 running along a corresponding part of the room wall, so that it is practically invisible in its open position and the room can be used in its entire size. Under certain circumstances, the top wall 26 can also be omitted.

It can also be provided as a window closure according to FIG. 9, which runs along the ceiling 29, for. B. can be pushed back under a top wall 30 as in the present case. A plastic film that can be rolled up onto a shaft could also be provided for this purpose. A leaf spring 31 pressing against the film 28 is provided as a conclusion in the example shown. As can be easily seen, this allows a wesent Lich simplified design of the window frame, and there are no protruding window wings or sunken parapets more agile.

Since there are fewer joints than with conventional windows and the plastic insulates better than glass, a wall-free window closure can be achieved. The window plate can also be arranged horizontally ver slidable.

As can be seen from the above, the flexible walls with small radii of curvature of less than 10 cm can be moved from one level to another. B. with be known, made in sheet steel smaller sliding doors is not the case. As a result of their seamless, plate-shaped design, they are both cheap to manufacture and easy to use. They can also be adapted to existing spatial conditions by simply cutting them to size and do not require any subsequent surface treatment. Damage to joints and individual wall elements, as they often occur with the usual roller shutters, are excluded here. A dust-tight finish can also be achieved with the flexible walls described.

The walls can also consist of washable material, so that cleaning them is extremely easy. A particular advantage of the room closures described is the ability of the wall material to adapt to the most varied of requirements in terms of size, color, etc. Showcases, furniture with one or more cupboard compartments, storage rooms where the greatest possible space utilization and accessibility are required and many other things provide themselves with degrees of the type described.

It should be noted that the walls of such closures also consist of several, one on top of the other or of two, e.g. B. can be formed by an insulating material such as glass wool from each other ge separated flexible sheets of plastic film. The insulating layer can also be sprayed onto the wall on one or both sides. Corrugated plastic sheets or plastic sheets provided with reinforcement strips can also be provided. The wall can also be a carrier impregnated with plastic, the latter being paper, corrugated cardboard, a glass fiber mat or the like.
