Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Aufhellungsmittels.            Clegenstand    vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Aufhellungs-          mittels.    Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekenn  zeichnet, dass man     4,4'-Diamino-stilben-2,2'-di-          sulfonsäure    mit einem.     2-(ss-iVlethoxy-äthoxy)-          benzoylhalogenid    bis zum Verschwinden der       Aminogruppen        acyliert.     



  Das erhaltene neue     Aufhellungsmittel,    die       4,4'-Di-[        2"-(ss-methoxy-äthoxy)-benzoylamino]-          stilben-2,2'-disulfonsäure,    stellt. ein schwach  gelblich gefärbtes Pulver dar und besitzt gute  Affinität zur     Cellulosefaser.            Beispiel:

              37    Teile     4,4'-1)iainino-still)en-2,2'-disulfon-          säure    werden in 1000 Teilen Wasser unter  Zusatz von 10,6 Teilen     eale.    Soda gelöst und  bei 0 bis 10  mit einer Lösung von 42,9 Tei  len     2-(ss-hletlioxy-ätlioxy)-benzoylehlorid    in  <B>150</B> Teilen Benzol kräftig verrührt und durch       Zutropfen    einer 1     5 /oigen        Sodalösung    die     frei-          werdende    Salzsäure neutralisiert.

   Sobald kein       Sodaverbraucli    mehr stattfindet, gibt man so  viel Soda zu, bis schwach     phenolplithaleinalka-          liselie    Reaktion herrscht, erwärmt auf 80 bis    90  und lässt das Benzol am absteigenden Küh  ler     abdestillieren.    Die zurückbleibende, wäs  serige Lösung enthält das     Reaktionsprodukt,     als gelbliche, leicht     filtrierbare        ATasse.    Nach  dem Trocknen bildet das so erhaltene     Dina-          triumsalz    der     4,4'-Di-[2"-(,B-methoxy-äthoxy)-          benzoylamino]-stilben-2,

  2'-disulfonsäure    ein  gelbliches Pulver, dessen wässerige Lösung auf  farblosem     Cellulosematerial    im ultravioletten  Licht und im ultraviolette Strahlen enthalten  den Tageslicht blau fluoreszierende, farblose       Fä.rbung-en    erzeugt.
