Description

Fig. 3 ist ein Schnitt dureh eine Versehlusskappe.

  Tube for garnish.

One knows tubes for garnishing with paste-like substances such. B. mayonnaise, the mouth of which has a star-shaped outlet opening delimited by prongs formed in it. When the tube contents are squeezed out, thanks to this star-shaped outlet opening, a strand of paste is produced with longitudinal grooves, which has a decorative effect when applied to the food to be garnished. In spite of their practical use, these tubes have come on the market to a very limited extent, not because it has so far not been possible to close such tubes with a screw cap in a satisfactory manner.

Thanks to the invention, these difficulties can not be overcome, namely in that a garnish tube is used with a neck having an external thread with a star-shaped outlet opening, which is formed by an inwardly bent ring of prongs, which is located on the inner edge of the tube neck. Dung is arranged and protrudes outward over the face of the tube neck.

An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing.

Fig. 1 shows the front part of a tube in section.

Fig. 2 is a plan view of Fig. 1, and
Fig. 3 is a section through a closure cap.

The tube @ according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has, as usual, a neck a1 provided with an external thread, the bore of which tapers conically towards the outside. A cuff piece b with a corresponding conicity is inserted into this bore from the inside and has a front end part provided with prongs bl, with which it protrudes over the tube neck. As can be seen from the drawing, these prongs bl are slightly bent inward and together form a star-shaped outlet opening. When the tube contents are squeezed out, a strand of paste is produced which has deep longitudinal grooves and thus has a decorative effect.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the prongs b1 form a ring of prongs projecting outward from the inner edge of the tube neck opening over the end face of the tube neck. A screw cap c according to FIG. 3, which has an inner shoulder c1, is used to seal a tube designed in this way. When the cap c is screwed on, its inner shoulder cl is pressed against the end face a2 of the tube neck, whereby an effective closure of the tube is guaranteed. If necessary, a sealing ring corresponding to its inner shoulder can be provided in the cap.

When the cap is screwed on, it is impossible for the contents of the tube to come into contact with the thread of the tube neck, which would cause the latter to become resinous. The tube contents remain better protected from a hygienic point of view.

Instead of providing the star-shaped outlet opening in a separately producible insert, it could also be provided in a similar serrated ring, but in the same working step of the drawing process. which is generally used in tube manufacture, would be formed protruding outwardly on the inside edge of the tube neck opening over the face of the tube neck.
