Description
Device for removing liquid of different temperatures from a container In a liquid container, when it is heated or cooled by convection, a stratification occurs in which the warmest and therefore lightest liquid is on top and the temperature steadily decreases downwards. If the container is left to its own devices, these temperature differences slowly equalize each other through heat conduction and diffusion from top to bottom; If, on the other hand, it is heated or cooled again, this temperature classification is more or less retained by continuous convection.
Is strongly pronounced. this stratification in central heating boilers, as' VV heat storage devices, are used by the hot water boilers and heat exchangers.
The problem now often arises of such a container of liquid. a certain temperature can be taken without putting any heating device into operation. Examples of this are: A circulating hot water heater is connected to a hot water tank that serves as a heat store and can be heated up at certain times or that can be filled.
A heat exchanger for hot water preparation and the central heating are connected to a central heating boiler. The flow temperature of the central. It should be possible to regulate the heating, while the hot water should always have the same temperature. In these two examples, the problem can be solved in a known but rather complicated manner with the help of so-called return flow admixing valves.
The subject matter of the present invention is a device which enables the removal opening in the container to be moved in the vertical direction and thus permits the removal of liquid at different temperatures within the limits between the temperature of the top and that of the bottom layer.
In the simplest case, this device consists of a dip tube that can be displaced by hand or automatically depending on a desired size. Ausfüh- iningsbeispiele are ersicht from the drawing. Fig. 1 shows an embodiment,
in which from the container respectively. Boiler K leads the rope Z 'to the outside. This immersion tube consists of tube pieces telescoped into one another. The lower end of the inner pipe section forming the removal opening can be pushed back and forth vertically in the area between the uppermost liquid layer and the inlet E by rotating the spindle S.
Fig. 2 shows an embodiment in which the extraction pipe R of unchangeable length in the boiler K is pivotable. This tube, which can be rotated about axis A perpendicular to the plane of the drawing, is open at 0. Depending on the rotation about A, the removal opening 0 comes to lie higher or lower and thus shifts in the height direction. In order to save energy and to increase stability, pipe R can be balanced with respect to axis A by a counterweight. The liquid emerges in the direction of axis A.
Fig. 3 shows another Ausführungsbei game, in which the immersion tube consists of two concentrically nested, vertically non-displaceable tubes Ra and Ri be, both of which are provided with openings, which are arranged so that the mutually arranged openings of the two tubes when the tube Ri rotates about its axis one after the other to completely coincide and so move the opening up or down depending on the direction of rotation.
In the example shown, the opening areas of successive openings of the outer tube are to partially overlap in order to enable the removal of liquid with a constantly changing temperature. For example, in FIG. 3 the lowest opening is completely open, the next higher opening is about half open. With this arrangement, the tube Ra must be closed at the bottom. Instead of the holes, the pipe Ri can also have a screw-shaped top-down slot or be cut helically abge.
Of course, the mentioned overlap of the opening areas can also be omitted.
