Ausschalter 26 in Verbindung.
Automatic scales for pourable goods.
The subject of the present invention is an automatic scale for free-flowing goods, in particular for flour, grain, flaky goods, etc.
The balance is characterized according to the invention in that its weighing container has an upper opening for filling in the goods to be weighed and a lower opening for the exit of the weighed goods, which is closed by a bottom that can be folded down and is under the influence of a counterweight endeavors to pivot into the closed position, furthermore by means of at least one electromagnet which, when excited, is able to hold the floor in the closed position against the load to be weighed, and in whose circuit there is at least one switching contact that can be influenced by the movable system of the scale, which interrupts the circuit at the moment when the desired weight of material to be weighed has been filled into the container,
so that the floor automatically swivels down under the load and releases the outlet for the weighed goods.
For the supply of the goods to be weighed, at least one vibrating chute can preferably end above the filling opening of the weighing container, which can be made to vibrate under the influence of at least one electromagnet excited with alternating current, in whose circuit there can be at least one switching contact that can be influenced by the movable system of the scale, which at the moment when the desired weight of goods to be weighed has been filled into the weighing container, the circuit and thus the supply of the goods is interrupted.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically in the accompanying th drawing.
In the drawing, 1 denotes a Waagebal ken, which is pivotably mounted by means of cutting 2 and has a sliding weight 3 on its one arm, while a cradle container 4 is suspended on its other arm. The container 4 be seated an upper opening 4a for the goods to be weighed and a lower opening 4b for the exit of the weighed goods, the latter of which is closed by means of a hinge 5 foldable down on the container angeord designated bottom 6. At one over the joint 5 protruding backwards
Extension 6a of the bottom is a counterweight 7, which has the tendency to
Always pivot bottom 6 into the illustrated closed position.
On the container 4 is also a
Electromagnet 8 attached, the armature 9 is arranged on the bottom 6, and which is able to keep the bottom in the closed position in the excited state when the interior of the
Container 4 is filled with material to be weighed. Above the filling opening 4a of the weighing container, there are two approximately horizontally arranged vibratory chutes 10 and 11, each of which is assigned an electromagnet 12 and 13. This
Electromagnets act on anchors 10a or 11a that are rigidly attached to the chutes, the arrangement being such that when the magnets 12 and 13 are excited with alternating current, the chutes are set in reciprocating vibrations corresponding to the changing magnetic fields.
The two anchors 10a and 11a of the vibrating chutes are advantageously designed as permanent magnets for this purpose.
A mercury rocker 14, which forms an electrical switching contact and is arranged so that the contact is closed when the is located, is rigidly connected to the swiveling base 6, for example built onto the counterweight 7 or built into the same Floor 6 is in the closed position. Two further mercury rockers 15 and 16 serving as switching contacts are arranged on a lever 17 which is pivotably mounted on the chassis of the balance and which cooperates with the end of one arm of the balance beam 1.
The lever 17 protrudes into the movement path of the balance beam 1 and tends to pivot liter under the influence of the weight downwards against a fixed stop zii. The lever is dimensioned with respect to the balance beam so that the two Queek silver rockers 15 and 16 make contact at the moment in which the balance comes into equilibrium.
The mercury rockers 15 and 16 make contact as long as the torque exerted by the counterweight 3 on the balance beam 1 is greater than the torque exerted by the load in the container 4. : Another lever 18 is also pivotably arranged on the chassis of the balance in such a way that an arm 18a of the same protrudes into the path of the balance beam 1, but in such a way that it works together with the relevant end of the balance beam as long as the balance is up to a certain level is removed from the equilibrium position, in the sense of an insufficient load in the container 4. Two stops 19 and 20 are provided to limit the visibility of the lever 18.
A mercury rocker 21 serving as a holding contact sits on the lever
18, who is also under the influence of a spring
22 is, which strives to pivot the lever so that the mercury rocker 21 the
Contact is interrupted and the lever arm 18a hits the upper stop 20. However, this is only possible if the balance is already close to the equilibrium position. Of the
Point of application of the spring 22 is adjustable with the help of an adjusting screw 23 to the
To be able to give spring different tensions.
Two connection terminals 24 and 25 are intended for connection to a alternating current source and have a two-pole connection
Off switch 26 in connection. The switch 26, the magnets 8, 12 and 13 and the mercury rockers 14, 15, 16 and 21 are connected to one another with electrical conductors a to f, as can be seen from the drawing.
The function of the described automatic scales is as follows:
Under the influence of the counterweight 7, the bottom 6 pivots against the outlet opening of the weighing container 4 and is held in this closed position by the magnet 8 when the terminals 24 and 25 are connected to a power source and the switch 26 is closed. The current flows from the terminal 24 via the conductor a to the magnet 8 and from here via the conductor b, the
Mercury rocker 15 and the conductor c to
Terminal 25. If the balance, as is taken here, is still unloaded, that is, if there is no good in the container 4, the sliding weight 3 pushes the right lying arm of the balance beam 1 down, which is why the lever 17 in that Location ge is pivoted in which the two rockers
15 and 16 make contact.
The other too
Lever 18 is under the influence of the sliding weight 3 and against the action of the
Spring 22 pivoted so that the mercury rocker 21 is also in contact. The the
Vibrating chute 10 associated vibrating magnet
12 is also excited; wherein the current flows from the terminal 24 via the conductor a, the mercury rocker 14 and the conductor d to the magnet 12 and from there via the conductor e, the rocker 16 and the conductor c to the terminal 25. The vibrating magnet 13, which is assigned to the other vibrating chute 11, receives its excitation current from the terminal 24 via the conductor a, the rocker 14 and the conductor d on the one hand and from the other terminal 25 via the conductor c, the rocker 21 and the conductor f on the other hand. Therefore, both channels 10 and 11 perform shaking movements.
The material to be weighed is first poured into the shaking chutes 10 and 11, from where it trickles by itself through the opening 4a into the weighing container 4 because of the shaking movements of the same. When the weight of the goods filled in the container 4 approaches the desired weight more and more, the moment comes when the end of the balance beam provided with the sliding weight 3 lifts off the lever arm 18a.
The spring 22 then pivots the lever 18 into the position shown, in which the rocker 21 interrupts the circuit. The magnet 13 and thus also the vibrating chute 11 are therefore put out of operation before the balance is in equilibrium. As a result, only the other Schüt telrinne 10 promotes more material in the weighing container 4, until the balance beam 1 pivots the lever 17 upwards, which occurs at the moment when the weight of the goods filled the desired value th reached.
The two mercury rockers 15 and 16 interrupt the circuits of the magnets 12 and 8, so that on the one hand the vibrating chute 10 also comes to a standstill and the supply of the goods to the container 4 is interrupted and, on the other hand, the force of the magnet 8 holding the bottom 6 ceases to act. Under the load of the goods present in the container, the base 6 therefore automatically swivels downward, whereby the outlet opening 4b is released for the weighed goods. When the bottom 6 is pivoted, the contact of the mercury rocker 14, via which both the circuit of the vibrating magnet 12 and the vibrating magnet 13 is routed, is also interrupted.
When the end of the balance beam 1 provided with the sliding weight 3 both
Relief of the container 4 is moved downwards again, the two vibrating magnets 12 and 13 are only excited again, despite the closing of the contacts in the rockers 15, 16 and 21, when the base 6 has assumed its closed position again. This reliably prevents the vibrating chutes 10 and 11 from conveying material before the outlet opening 4b of the weighing vessel is closed again.
By means of the adjusting screw 23 can
Tension of the spring 22 can be adjusted to the torque on the balance beam 1, which the sliding weight 3 in its various positions calls forward, so that the spring
22 does not affect the weighing.
The advantages of the described scales ge compared to known scales are: By the
Holding magnets 8 are pawls or the same as previously used and gave rise to malfunctions, completely avoid the. The mercury rockers enable spark-free switching of the circuits and have the further advantage that the
Switching contacts are completely dust-proof.
The scales can be used for various types of free-flowing material, such as flour, grain, flakes, etc., without modification.
Instead of a sliding weight 3, a fixed weight can of course also be present if the scale is only used for a desired weight. If necessary, only a single vibratory trough is sufficient, in which case the mercury rocker 21 with the lever 18 and the magnet 13 with the trough 11 are not present.
